I have the latest issue of SOP and it didn't mention anything about Steve and Kayla leaving or Hope either for that matter. As for the shooting by a vet. Wouldn't that be Hope shooting Kayla? Only she didn't die.

All the internet soap news sites have that Stephen and Mary Beth were indeed fired.

This show is going down so fast it is like NBC wants it to fail so they have a reason to cancel it.

could you imagine more scenes of Chloe and Daniel.

I do not like him. I find him creepy.

I would not mind more Sami but she might considered a VET soon and fired also.

I am really not o upset over the firings. They do NOTHING with these actors. They gave them all terrible story lines and then when they are done they became background for other actors.

The send off of John and Marlena was a disgrace. They were on that show for so many years and that was the send off they did.

It wasn't a dream but he also didn't hear what she said. I think all these people need their ears cleaned.

It took Chloe the whole show today to give Lucas back that darn ring. And she really didn't say anything to why she gave it back. It just went in circles today.

And this whole Stephanie/Phillip/Melanie thing is so boring. I can't stand to watch Melanie's scenes anymore.

Hi Days friends, not been around as much, life has gotten in the way of my social life on the internet but I do try and read here at least and keep up with what you all are posting....

Stephen & Mary Beth going is the PITS and this show is sinking faster then the Titanic! Don't know what drugs the writers TPTB are on, but they all need to go to rehab! I'm so ready to quit watching when these 2 get the final walking papers. All the vets they have done away with over the last 12 months or so is ridiculous. And to get rid of Nick, who was a good character and a good young actor, to keep the likes of Melonie?? makes no sense to me.

They need to realize that these vets they are dumping are the backbone of this show. I have nothing against Ali/Sami, but geez, the whole show is not called Days of Sami Brady...and that is all they have seemed to zone in on.

A lot of the message boards that are dedicated to S&K are in a big frenzy over this and are bombarding the soap mags, NBC and whoever else will listen with emails, letters, faxes and whatever to know that as fans of not only S&K, but the show are very upset over all this, and many are planning to NOT watch after they are let go! I know it seems silly, but a lot of fans have watched this show forever, and it sure is going to heck in a handbasket! It is NOT the show that I started watching 25 years ago. Seems to me they want it to fail. I'd rather they just cancelled it as opposed to giving it a slow, painful death.

I missed you around here!!! I so agree with what you have written. I really miss the old Days.

The one were they never missed a Holiday( I loved their Christmas season shows) and it was all about family with some issues thrown in.

Now we get Chloe and Daniel going at each other like animals. Where is the love story there. And now Hope leaves Bo.... Makes no sense.

The writers KEEP bringing back the Vets because the writers know it sucks all of us Vets back in to watch a little longer..

I cant stand Melanie.. She needs to learn how to act.. Id even take robot John over her..

They are really being stingy and cheap, just having S&K kind of trail off with no real wrap-up. Sigh... I used to really love Days- seems like such a loooong time ago now.

That is horrible! I remember when I first stated watching (96) and would hate when it went off! I just couldn't get enough. I miss those Days.

Do you guys really think the show is on it's way out?

We had bad weather in the area today and they pre-empted the show. Ugh. Probably didn't miss much though.

I'm mad about the whole Steve and Kayla thing. I've been watching this show since my grandma got me started...probably almost 40 years ago. Over the years it's changed so much. Back then, you felt like you knew the characters personally. You laughed and cried with them. Now I mostly feel like I'm watching a bad audition. I don't know why I remain faithful to it. It's NOT the same show. I agree that they're trying to kill it.

Exactly what I was thinking! They are trying to get us to believe that this was enough for Hope to leave Bo - I don't buy it.

And Steve and Kayla have always been my favorites. I started watching regularly again when they brought them back. Of course they never really used them in the right way but I can't believe they are being cut!

Will is coming back but it will be a new actor. Hope this one is better then the last one. This one even looks more like Sami. Funny part is he is really young...17 I think . Isn't will suppose to be older then Elvis.

Maybe they will put him with Mia...or better yet wasn't she going to Paris to dance, isn't that where Carrie and Austin are? Maybe he is the father of the baby that would be a hoot. We need to know more about Mia.

One of the spoiler I heard was that one half of a super couple is going to get killed off by a vet actor. There isn't that many vet actors left and why would they do this.

I really don't know what direction this soap is going in but down hill fast again.
