I can't stand Marlena and John and am happy to say good riddance. Whenever I talk about the show to my DH, he does the John eye brow arch and starts getting really dramatic. I think I'll miss that much more than the characters!

My dh does the same thing! It's a running joke in our house.

Ugg it was so far fetched today with Nicole and Mia.

I know it is a soap opera but still.....

My guess now is that Dr Baker is going to tell Sami her baby died and Nicole is going to take it. I think Mia will keep her baby.

We are going in circles with Chloe and Daniel. I really don't care if they get together or not.

I agree with everything you said. I lost interest in Marlena a long time ago-they haven't given that character an interesting storyline in years! I did enjoy the new John lately, though. He was really funny!

I do!!!! Can we just give Nicole a baby already?? I think she is great! Now, if she were to have twins-a hidden twin-that does happen-1 is behind the other so no spotting on the ultrasound-1 is Mia's and the other is Sammi's=awesome. And Nicole would be the princess of the DeMara mansion-priceless! Who wirtes this stuff? I LOVE it! Her and EJ are so great together!

I have really been out of the DOOL loop for years, but I taped it the other day because I saw that they were going to show a John & Marlena special

Wasn't John evil a few months ago?? Stefano's son? wth happened?

He was Stephano's pawn for years. But this year we found out that he was Stephano's brother. This guy has been so many people. And when Stephano was in a coma (that Marlena put him in) John lived in the mansion for awhile.

Stephano took John's memories away and made him him his soldier, pawn what ever you want to call it. He has been a funnier John this year. Very blunt about everything but not remembering anyone until last Friday before their last scene.

If someone watches today can they tell me if Nicole called the baby a she? I could have swear Mia said "he" in the preview. Haven't watched today's show yet.

Ok I just saw on my todays show that Mia did have a girl. Someone on this thread Sami is suppose to have a girl too so I see a switch coming.

Steve (Patch), Kayla's husband, is Jack's brother. Steve and Adrienne's mom, Jo, gave her youngest, Billy (Jack), up for adoption because the kids' father was awful and beat them. She figured Billy would have a better life. He was adopted by Senator Harper Devereaux and his wife. Steve found out about Jack when Jack was ill with Hodgkins Disease- he pushed Kayla away and she married Jack out of pity (Jack loved Kayla).

I started watching about the time all of this was happening- it seems like just yesterday!!

I remember Roman (actually John, but nobody knew about it back then) raising Carrie and the twins by himself after Marlena's plane went down in the Bahamas. He eventually fell in love with and married Izzy B (Toscano, who turned out to be Victor's daughter). They had Brady, then she died of pancreatic cancer. By this time, Marlena was back, and he knew he was John Black. I think that the REAL Roman was back by then, too.

Good times, good times!!
