So it's my day off. I've slept in a little bit. I'm happily spending some time on the DIS. And woldn't yo know it, I've spilled coffee all over my key board. I've popped all the keys off, cleaned the inside with q-tips and alcohol, cleaned the keys, and pt it all back together. And one of my keys still isn't working. Can yo gess which one?

I sppose the rle for not eating or drinking at the compter applies to moms too!

I'm guessing it's the letter U? I'm sorry to laugh at your misfortune but it is funny! My kids catch me eating and drinking at the computer all the time and let me have it. I'm sure I'll be in your situation one of these days.

So now my fingers are getting used to a new keyboard, and my ankle is on ice. At Wal-Mart {My favoritist place in the whole wide world yeah, right }, a lovely young lady pushing one of those monstrous, unsteerable two seater carts plowed into my ankle. I actually yelped, turned around and said 'excuse me'. She looked me right in the eye, and walked past me while talking to her toddler. She was talking in Spanish. Maybe she didn't understand me? She had to know she hit me though.

Mama told me there'd be days like this.

I've never tried this but have been told it works by several people- put the keyboard in the dishwasher. Yes, I'm serious. Don't put any detergent in and put it on air dry (no-heat dry setting or however yours is listed). Wait for it to dry out and will be good as new.
