Does anyone know how to find out if their are any unused days left on old park hopper passes? It is my understanding that they never expire. Do you think that DVC member services could give out that information if they were provided with the number on the park hopper pass? Any suggestions or ideas?
Thanks!princess: princess:

My understanding is that the only way to find out about unused days is to go to guest services at the park entrances.

I dont think they give information over the phone.

The won't do it over the phone. You can also go to the Disney stores in DTD to check and at any Disney Resort at the Guest Services desk if you will not be in the park.

One additonal question- If I use all 5 days on my Park Hopper plus ticket, but none of the pluses, do the pluses expire or can the pluses be used for the next trip?

The pluses never expire even if you've used all the days. Hold on to that ticket.

This is one of those things that Disney should address. I have tickets from last year and cannot remember whether we have 2 or 3 days left. The only way to find out is at WDW. So how do I determine what to buy this year? A suggestion to Disney should be that Disney Stores (which sell passes) should have a machine to read the existing ones, or there should be something on the back that indicates the times used.

The whole purpose of their magnetic strip ticketing system is to make the ticket so the admissions can't be visibly read. It is what Disney came up with to halt the ever growing used ticket resale problem they were having...and it's been quite successful. What they have done is put the responsibility of keeping track of the admissions on you, the ticket owner.

Not to sound cruel but Disney is very happy if you have no idea what's left on the tickets and have to buy new ones for your next trip. They always want you to go home with unused admissions. It practically guarantees a return visit in the future to use them up.

TDS will never be tied into the ATS ticketing system.

I've always had this problem too and have started at the end of each trip writing in permanent marker the number of days and plusses we have left on each ticket.
