We visited WDW in February with the entire family but are returning in October without the kids for the Food & Wine Festival.

I think we have a day left on both mine and my son's pass. (We purchased the "no expiration" option and it is marked on the passes.

Is there any way to check if there is a day left on the passes? If a day is left, can DH use our son's adult park hopper pass? I don't recall which pass was mine and which was DS's???

If I have to wait until we get there in October, where would I go to check into this? Guest Services?

TIA for any direction.....

Technically speaking, admission media are non-transferable. From a practical standpoint, however, we've learned that all tickets bought as part of the same reservation are linked; that is, the finger scan data is all linked. For example, in a party of four, all four sets of fingers will work with any of the four park passes. I've read that this is done so that if one person in the party is holding all 4 tickets and then passes them out before they all get to the turnstiles, there won't be a problem of you inadvertantly using your spouse's ticket, and so on.

So if all of the baove is true, and both your husband and son traveled to WDW last time, then your husband's finger scan will be okey-dokey with the Disney computer the next time you go.

As for your other question, as far as I know there is no way to "read" what's left on park tickets without being on WDW property.

To find out what admissions remain, go to Guest Relations at any park. There is at least one window nearby outside the turnstiles.

If you are spending more than 3 days in the park it is preferable to buy a new ticket for all of the days unless you are using leftover passes exclusively.
