I would like to know if anyone has stayed in a BWV studio with an extra daybed. I have reservations for 2 studios at BWV on 07-09-06 to 14. We are traveling with 6 teenagers and they don't want to sleep in the same bed. I have heard disney will not provide cots but was wondering if a daybed would be large enough for the girls. Thanks for any info.

no this is tiny - besides it is impossible to reserve - you use too it was a dedicated plus studio

plus is the day bed.

not all dedicated studios are pluses.

do you reserve a dedicated or lock off - look at your reservation to find out.

go get an air bed....

I do not think that the "daybed" would comfortably fit a teenager.

With 6 teenagers who don't want to sleep together, I don't think you have enough beds if you've booked 2 BWV studios. Even 2 OKW studios will only give you 4 nice queen beds, not 6.

There is no way a teenager will fit on the daybed at BWV. It is really not a daybed, it is like a parson's bench with a thin pad on it. I do not think anyone larger than a toddler could fit on it comfortably. And personally, I would not even put a toddler on it. When we have a room that has the daybed, we use it to store stuff, like fanny packs, camera cases, etc.
The only resorts that have true daybeds are the Poly and the Contemporary. Now those are daybeds! They are full size twin beds with big fluffy pillows. YC, BC, BWI have daybeds that are smaller than a twin bed but are big enough to fit a child up to maybe 10 yo.
None of the DVC resorts have real daybeds. I wish BWV would change their wording and not call the bench they have, a daybed. It confuses many people. It is a bench with a pad on it, NOT a daybed.

So there will be 8 people total? 2 adults + 6 teens? and you've only booked 2 studios? Unless 3 teens are planning on sleeping on the floor, some teens are going to sleep together.

2 studios at BWV will have a total of 2 queen sized beds and 2 full-size sleeper sofas. So you and your spouse will have 1 queen bed, leaving 1 queen bed and 2 full sized sleeper sofas for the 6 teens. The only way it will work if EACH teen sleeps with someone else.

Alternatively, you could bring an air mattress and sleeping bag. It will be a tight fit, but you might be able to put the air mattress on the floor between the balcony and the pull out or at the bottom of the bed. I think some people who do this don't even use the pull out as a pull out, they have one kid sleep on the couch and one on the floor in a sleeping bag.

Ok, I'm ready for the flaming... but in May I had 4 adults in the room and yes, one adult (she's probably 5') slept on the daybed just fine. It wasn't too comfortable and she moved to our bed to sleep after we left to get a few more hours of sleep, but in a pinch.... I'd sleep there... It's like the size of a crib size mattress....

Flame away!

Good luck with this trip- the bed situation is bad enough but 6 teens, 2 adults(?) and only two bathrooms- at least you will have the extra sinks in the kitchenettes. Think I would try to change to OKW 2BR for the extra floor space you may need for the airbeds and sleeping bags and if one is short she could sleep on the love seat. You would also have the cushions off the couch and chair that could be used for a bed if need be. You will still need extra linens unless you stick to sleeping bags. It might not be that many more points. Good luck and have a wonderul trip that I am sure you will all remember.

I'd advise the girls that they WILL be sharing the beds and to pick their partner now.
