Erika's boys are so cute... because they take after their uncle (that would be me!).

Sounds like a great time Erika! Can't wait to read the rest!

Well they certainly didn't get 'em from Brendan! :rotfl:

Hope you guys had a smooth flight home yesterday... are you in Post Disney Depression yet? Of course you've only got a month to go before you head back.... Lucky dog!!! ;)

Hey, you guys better come down for Labor Day too... it's turning into quite the little pre-Thanksgiving reunion I hear. :) So much for my "we're only going once this year" theory. LOL :teeth:

rileyroosmom - It seemed to be on a sensor I think, but as long as you keep it turned really low it was cold enough. Also, I'm not completely sure, but I think it shuts off when you open the balcony door... I swear it did, but I don't know. As far as the fridge goes we were told when we booked and also when we checked in early that morning that we would already have one, but when we got to our room around 4:00 pm it wasn't there. I don't mind calling down to request it from housekeeping, but it did bug me since I had been assured it was already in the room. Maybe they don't have enough units yet? I don't know.

Erika~

Your trip report and your pictures are great! :Pinkbounc I am looking forward to the next installment. :teeth:

We had a nice flight back. Not a big fan of Southwest, though. This was our first time using them, and I decided that I hate standing in the corral waiting to board.

I'm fighting my post-Disney depression by getting ready for our June trip and figuring out if we can join you over Labor Day weekend.

The A/C sensor drove me nuts at SSR last weekend. Every night I woke up because it was too warm in the room (I like it on the chilly side). The room never got below 71 even though the thermostat was set to 68. It was very annoying. I think I remember a posting about fooling the sensor using a balloon; I'm going to have to find that information before our next trip!

Some resorts are worse than others on the a/c sensor. BCV was the worst we ever had. Brendan and I would take turns getting up at night to dance around the room. At Poly we didn't have that problem, must be just the newer resorts. Someone over on the resort board posted a code you can use to disable the sensor... a maintenance man showed her how to do it, but I can't find the post right now.

I feel as if I "missing" something without being able to see the photos. I hope they will allow us to view the pictures again...

What happened to the pictures???????? :confused3

I read the post right after Erika posted and the pictures were there then! They were GREAT!!!!

Sorry you guys, I exceeded my bandwith for today so the pics won't come back until after midnight. So check back then or early tomorrow! :)

Erika,

Thanks for the report & pictures! Looking forward to more! Thanks!

This is a great trip report! Lots of good information for when we take our boys this fall (about the same ages as yours). Can't wait to read the rest.

I love the look on your son's face in the picture where he has the stickers all over him. Your boys are adorable!

My big question: What kid of camera do you have? you pictures are great!
Thanks!

Just found your reports today. I have a lot of catching up to do.:)

Now Erika, I know you are a very organized traveler and all, but do you give your family assigned spots for pictures?;) You guys are too cute.:sunny:

Thanks guys! :)

My camera is a Canon Powershot S410, and I love it!! :teeth: It's 4.0 mega pixels... which I think is plenty for our general use. The only problem is I still haven't figured out how to take good night shots.

Tinkbell - :rotfl2: :rotfl: :rotfl2: I had never even noticed that!

Day 8 should be coming soon.... :wave2:

Thanks Erika! One more quick question: how's the battery life?
Thanks again, can't wait for the rest of the report!

Actually, I'm not really sure because I always charged it every night. It lasted all day with no problems though. I never risked letting it drain out. ;)
