I am in need of some help! We are getting married at 1pm at Sea Breeze Point in July (just the two of us). After pics and everything, we are having tea at the Grand Floridian. Later that night, we have PS at California Grill.

Here is the question...what to do in between the tea (say 4ish?) and getting to the CG (early to get a window say 8ish)? I wanted to stay in our wedding clothes (not the usual big white dress and tux but dressed up) so parks are a probable no. Can anybody else think of something fun to do? It will probably 900 degrees so I at a loss. Do I just say "forget it..let's change and have fun somewhere" and then change back for dinner??? HELP!

You could kill a few hours @ the GF...walk around the hotel, shop I believe at around 6 there is entertainment in the lobby (band)..If you have some $$$$ then how about a quick treatment at the gf spa? Maybe head over to the poly for a drink, and walk on the beach???? Congratulations!

if your clothes are light where you're not going to be sweating, why not do a little resort cruise? it'll take you around the lagoon there for a while and it'll cool you off at the same time. you can check out the cruises at allearsnet.com for more information.

What about one of those horse and carriage rides I think at the POR??

This is what Iam also thinking about...How to fill my day , as we are getting married in a chapel in Kissimee but I hope to have reservations for about 6pm that night for Victoria and Alberts.

You could always change after the tea..and spend a little quality time in your room, before changing back into wedding clothes about 7pm and having a drink at the Contempory before your meal.
This would give you a couple of hours to chill before the meal.

If it were my day, I would probably take the monorail over to the Contemporary and then walk to their marina and rent a pontoon boat from there for a couple hours. You can take a relaxed cruise around Bay Lake and Seven Seas Lagoon, then turn the boat in and head up to CG for a toast before dinner. The pontoon boats have some shade available so they are more comfortable (and dry) than the other boat choices. You could also check into Breathless, although it may not be as easy to stay fresh for dinner riding in that boat. I believe the prices for rentals are around $70/hour. Not cheap, but a ton of fun and lots of neat things to see.

If you prefer an indoor event, how about Cirque du Soleil La Nouba at Downtown Disney. They have a 6:00pm show. I don't know if this showtime is offered every day. Also, I'm not sure how long the show lasts.
