Day guest help

My family and I will be making a day trip to MK at the end of July and I need advice on the new fast pass system. We had the old system down to a science but this will be our first trip since the changes have taken place. I understand we can't book them in advance so any help will be appreciated. One idea is to arrive before opening and send the rest of the family to ride space mtn, which I don't ride, and I can get fast passes for 3 attractions for each of us. Is this possible ? Is there a better way to begin the day? Other suggestions ?

If you buy your tickets now you can book 3 fp+ 30 days in advance. That is the best way to get the best bang for your buck as a day guest.

If you are unable to buy your tickets until day of then as soon as you get your tickets link them to your My Disney Experience account on the way to the turnstiles. You'll be able to book everything on the app with out having to send your family ahead.
