we will be staying at the beach club and we are wondering if someone can sleep comfortably on the day bed in the room or should we just pay for a cot ty .DM

The day bed is about the size of a twin bed. I suppose if you were 6ft tall, it might be uncomfortable. Otherwise, it's a comfy bed.

I remember the daybeds at BC as being narrower and shorter than a twin bed....they're not as big as those at the Poly. Fine for a child or smaller teen but otherwise......

We have not stayed at the BC but stayed at the YC last Sept. Our daybed was big enough for an adult. It was really comfy. My mil slept on it and slept very well.

I've styaed at both resorts, the day beds are the same in both, about the size of a twin mattress, and any adult who is not an NBA star shouldn't have a problem with either.

Used one last week at ASMo --- yes, it is narrower and shorter, but my petite Mom slept on it very comfortably.

I think it would be fine for a teen or most "not too big" adults.

It's also a little lower to the ground, so it's easier for someone who has trouble getting up into those higher beds.

We stayed at GF in January. Daybed was againsta a wall with thick back cushions. DD 4 yrs old, 39lbs tried it and was miserable. Partly because of not enough room, and the back cushions "pushed her off". We couldn't rearrange thing because we had a crib in room. No complaints though, the queen size beds accomodated everyone quite well.

Ducklite, we've stayed in both BC and Poly, too....BC-3 or 4 times, the Poly 26 times, I believe. We have a family of five so we use the daybed. It's just not as large at BC. My petite daughter, 17, is fine in it but a larger teen or adult might not be very comfortable.
