Day at Disney World during cruise

Hi all,

I have another question regarding a Disney cruise we're doing this fall which includes a day at DW with park hopper tickets.

Has anyone experienced this before? Just wondering if it is recommended to link your park tickets to your MDE account that morning (since I heard you don't get the tickets until the night before). The tickets are pre-loaded with 3 VIP fast passes so I didn't know if linking them to MDE messes that up at all.

Also, can you sign up for other fast passes once you use your VIP ones (assuming there are any available for that day)?

Don't know that answer. I never have any good luck with assigning passes to my MDE but that just me. why would you need to if you can just use your fast passes for whatever attractions you want?

Was thinking of linking so that after our third VIP fast pass we could book another, but I guess worst case I can just wait until we use our third to then link the tickets

We did exactly that on our WDW stop. Linked the ticket to the MDE app and we were able to book 3 'normal' FastPasses in addition to the 3 VIP ones. It meant we could do things like Frozen (out of FP's well in advance) using the VIPs and then knowing we would have time to do other attractions using the normal FP's.
