Day 8: Nov. 5th
DHs Birthday
Woke up at 7:00am and was so sad. Tomorrow we would be
going home and the SAB were leaving this evening. But I
quickly turned that frown into a smile and was excited to
have breakfast at the Cape May Café. Having never at
their before, I was looking forward to it.
We met the SABS on the bridge to the YC/BC and headed over to breakfast.
We had about a 10 minute wait till our table was ready.
Not too bad considering this was our last day of the trip
and we didn't really have long waits for this trip.
Once we were seated the characters came around
immediately.
Our waitress Belle was a lovely woman who was so
attentive that we were always happy to see her around
our table and area. The food was plentiful and all
enjoyed the experience. Belle even brought over a
birthday cupcake for DH and we all sang Happy Birthday-
even though he was extremely embarrassed.
Thus why I dont have any pictures--
We headed out the lighthouse at the YC and took
the boat to MGM. Boy was it hot outside today,
I think this is the hottest it has been the whole trip.
But overall the weather was great- some minor rain
showers, but not anything that prohibited us for
enjoying the parks.
I was determined to get in the hot seat one more
time, so we headed to Millionaire b/c it was a great
ride to relax and digest after such a great meal. We
all had no luck with the hot seat, but we all really enjoyed
the game. Then onto the backlot Tour which is a bit long,
and kinda corny, but it is something that you need to do.
We made it a point to get lots of pictures with Vincent
and the characters as we wanted to make sure he
remember his first Birthday trip to WDW.
Of course, we watched a showing of Little Mermaid,
and Playhouse Disney as well as the Great Movie Ride.
We had no plans for watching the parade, so we left
the park around 1:30pm and enjoyed some time at the
pool and talked about what a wonderful trip it was and
how were going to do this again real soon.
The SABS went back to their hotel packed up and decided
to meet us on the Boardwalk to say a formal goodbye
when they were ready to go. It was 5:30pm and their car
was coming at 6:00pm so our kisses and hugs were short
and said we would talk and exchange pictures when
we got home tomorrow.
Once they left DH and I headed to Kimonos for
his Birthday dinner. It was wonderful and left there
and went to DTD for some last minute shopping. DH
and I sat and had ice cream and did some people
watching afterwards and took our time getting to the
busses, as this was our last night of this trip. We did
some last minute packing and got to bead around 1:00am-
I just didnt want this day to end and have to go home
tomorrow. All in all it was a wonderful trip.
Day 9- Nov. 6th.
We were up at 6:15am as Magical Express was
picking us up at 7:30am for our trip to Orlando
Airport. Our flight took off on time and landed in
Newark, NJ on schedule. Another WDW trip was
complete and now the planning begins for another!!
THANKS FOR READING MY FIRST TRIP REPORT,
I HOPE TO DO MORE IN THE FUTURE!
