The children were very excited about this park.We headed straight for the penguins. We were here for ages.A little black and white penguin actually waved to us!!!We were so lucky.Next we went to Terrors in the Deep.Yasmin didn't like this.I told Cuthbert to pick his lunch.LOL.We went to touch the dolphins. The hired help told me I was not allowed to hold the children over the ledge! How else were they supposed to reach!!A cute grey dolphin said hello to me.Then the hired help told me I was not allowed to feed the dolphins chips.I told him they were in fact crisps (Cheesy puffs to be exact) and they were enjoying them. But no it was NOT allowed. We left!

The Clyde and Seamore show was a hoot. The humour went way over Cuthberts head,as did the water when I volunteered him to be publicly humiliated! We went to the seals next. The noise they made got on my nerves.I would like to have put them on mute.
Went on the viewing tower next and I spotted a rollercoaster.Yasmin and I went on this next and Journey to Atlantic.Rollercoaster was amazing. The Atlantic ride ruined my hair. After lunch the children went to sleep in the stroller.Cuthbert and Yasmin had a sleep on the grass.I went to the Florida Mall and arranged to meet them later. On my way back to the park I almost hit that blasted green trolley thing. The driver had the cheek to shout at me.I waved to him with two fingers.I had to be on the left side of the road or else I would have got confused!

I had trouble getting back into Seaworld.Apparently I should have got my hand stamped.I explained that I could not go shopping with marks on my hand. They did not seem to understand so I turned on the waterworks and cried hysterically about never seeing my children again.I was starting to attract a crowd. They let me in!!!

Found the others and we went to the Shuma show.Got a seat right at the front so we could get a picture of Shuma with the children.Yasmin bought herself and the children pancho things.I declined.I have a reputation you know.Shuma would not stop to have his picture taken no matter how often I shouted to him. Then the cheek of him.He threw water all over me.He did get the other persons wet but I KNOW I WAS THE TARGET!I complained to the trainer of Shuma. They looked at my suede coat and knee high boots and chuckled.I left in tears.Cuthbert said nothing.I swear the hired help at the gates laughed at me as I left.
Back to the hotel.Everyone went to bed.I went to the bar for a whisky!

Tomorrow:Universal Studios

Suede, in Florida, in the summer?

Great report Veronica

Maybe Shuma thought you looked rather hot in your boots and coat and wanted to cool you down a bit Veronica!!!!!

LOL...Sorry you didn't have a good time at Sea World...Looking forward to reading about Universal Studios, though!

<font color=navy>Hi Garry,

Thank you for posting these reports of Veronica's (& family) trip. I have enjoyed them, and my ds asks me everyday if Miss Veronica has posted another trip. Silly boy. I keep telling him that you are posting them for Miss Veronica.

Just a little question -- are you writing these from notes that she must be sending you, or does she dictate the entire trip for you to type out to share with us?

Looking forward to the next installment.

Thanks for posting your trip report! I have been having a great time reading them all. I do need to ask you what pocessed you to wear a suede coat and knee high boots in May, in Florida??

I am crossing Sea World off of my next itinerary.

Thank you for the warning, Veronica!

I am loving your trip reports, Veronica!! :p
Sorry your Sea World adventure wasn't all that you thought it would be!!

Oh, that naughty, naughty, Shuma! LOL

I'm having such a good chuckle reading all your trip reports, Veronica. :)

Just sending this back to the first page to keep them all together.

Do hope you managed to get the suede cleaned without any problems Veronica. Those waterproofs are just so unladylike, I won't wear them either sweetie.

I hope Shuma was given a severe reprimand.

Yours with fondness, Astrid

Darling Veronica,
How unfortunate other people got wet when Shuma was splashing you in particuar.Do you think it had something to do with the suede, perhaps Shuma's attracted to it?!

Karen xx:rolleyes:

I am not trying to be rude.. really. But I have to say that some of the things you write in your posts amaze me.
You fed the dolphins cheesy poofs? Are you serious? I have been there, several times, and there are
numerous signs that say don't feed the animals. Sea World, like all the other parks, have rules that must
be followed. Especially in this case because these animals could be seriously harmed by "people" food
which is full of chemicals and food additives.

And, I might be the only one but "hired help" sounds like you are talking about a personal slave.

Is this just the difference between American and English culture? I am I being too sensitive here?

Dislove...check out some of DixieAmos's prior threads. They are meant to be tongue-in-cheek. I get a kick out of reading them.

Sorry to hear you got soaking wet at SeaWorld. But still a great report here! :)

Glo I often wear suede. I didnt realise that I would be so hot.

Veronica
