Meanwhile...over at Toontown...
The men and I had lunch at the Plaza Inn...or rather Chris & I did. Corey and DeWayne weren't hungry so they just sat with us. I had the Fried Chicken dinner and Chris had the Penne Pasta. Yummy!
We met up with Shelli's family at the HMH. We rode Pirates, Splash & Winnie while in the area.
We strolled over to Adventureland and hopped on the Jungle Cruise. Along the way, we met up with Jasmine.
Next we went on Indy where we got stuck right at the boulder scene. At least we got to ride it.
We went into the Tiki Room then I treated myself to my very first Dole Whip Float. Oh my...that was yummy!
According to my notes, we rode Space Mountain and Big Thunder again. Did I mention how much I love Big Thunder?
We took these pictures around 4:00 PM. They give you an idea of just uncrowded the park was that day.
Fantasmic showed at 7:30 that night. Around 5:30, we staked out our spot to watch the show. We took turns saving our spot while the others rode Big Thunder, Pirates and Indy again. I don't have any photos of Fantasmic except some really dark ones, so I won't bother posting them. I did get some of us waiting though. As usual, the show was Fantasmic!
We had a hard time keeping Brandon awake until Fantasmic started, but when he heard Mickey's voice, he perked right up.
The park closed after Fantasmic so we headed back to the hotel, watched a little TV then went to sleep. It's kinda nice being here when the park opens late and closes early. We're not so tired all the time.
Next: Day 7 - DL/DCA
