Arrived at Disney/Mgm at 8:30. They were taking reservations out front if anyone wanted to have breakfast and those people were allowed in. At 8:45 we were allowed onto Hollywood Blvd and at 9 we were set free. Went first to R&R coaster. That is such a rush, rode it twice in a row. The back is a little rougher. Next to TOT. Got the middle seat in the back Row 5. As the CM was giving his instructions he started by saying Row 6. Instead of listening to the instructions they thought they were supposed to board. He let them board and then told them to come back out. He let every other row on before Row 6 (which was supposed to go first). I was in Row 5 but because I was in the middle seat I knew they could have to climb over me so I had to wait for them to board and I was the last seated. I announced as I entered that I wasn't with the trouble makers. Does anyone remember when at the first stop in the elevator they used to take your picture and put it on the eyeball when you emerged from the shaft to go to the drop? Now you don't even have that first stop. I proceeded to the Great Movie Ride then. A bit of a line cause they only have one car running (gangster car). It doesn't look like they've run the first car for a while. There didn't seem to be many burn stains on the jail. I went to "One Man's Dream" after that. I loved that. Makes you wonder what EPCOT would have been like if Walt had lived. Picked up a fast pass for millionaire and went to the backlot express for a salad. Don't want to eat too much. I have a Fantasmic dinner seating of 4:50 at Hollywood & Vine. The fast pass for Millionaire wasn't needed, they were recruiting people off the street for the show. The TV version of the show doesn't turn me on and neither did this version.
It was getting a little too hot for me so I spent a lot of time just people watching before going on Muppets 4D and Sounds Dangerous. Got to my PS at Hollywood & Vine. It was a wonderful break and the food was good. I had never been to Fantasmic and I had high expectations. And I will say it did live up to its reputation.
After exiting I headed over to the Yacht Club for the Illuminations cruise with DISer disney dreaming. Had a great driver. I also met DISers poopie & Jcricket Fan. Had a great time with you guys.
