Day 1 of our trip! (update:day 4 posted!)

The natives had a little less pick-up the morning we were headed to MK. Another 8AM opening!! I was up at 6am and ready to go before I woke anyone else. Even the baby pulled the cover over her head. Finally, as I started to belt out Disney songs like "under the sea" everyone woke up and begged me to stop singing. So, 7:20 we were heading out to MK!! YIPPEE!! I couldn't wait to see Cinderella's castle! We got there just past opening and headed towards main street. DD4 was begging for a stroller (she is NOT a morning person). DH and I got our game faces on, and he bolted to Space Mountain to grab FPs AND to Splash mountain for FPs. See, I have no desire to ride either.....i know, i know.......what is wrong with me, going all the way to WDW and not riding the two classic mountains. Splash mountain never appealed to me. The build-up is too long for my taste, just get to the drop already!!!! Space mountain is cool but I just wanted to be mellow today. So, DH was able to get 2 fps for space mountain for him and DD15 and then use my ticket and DD6 and DD4's ticket for splash mountain. DD6 doesn't like space mountain. Meanwhile me and all 4 dds waited for dumbo. Can you believe this was our 5th trip and we had never ridden dumbo.......I am ashamed!!! It's a rite of passage!!! The line had a 20 minute wait, DH got back just in time so we did the family thing and rode all together, awwwww! Next, I ran over to see how long the wait was for small world. NO WAIT!! 
We love small world, all except for DH. He tolerates it. At the end, DD4 insists we ride it again. And ride again we do!!! I decided I can do it excitedly 1.5 times. Halfway through the 2nd time, I realized I had enough of a world of laughter, a world of tears, get me off this bloody ride!!!!!
Next we went to mickey's philharmagic and there was no wait again. DD4 has a hard time with 3d stuff but she did great this time. After we went to peter pan, there was a 20 minute wait but I think something may have happened because it took longer like 30-35 minutes but it's one of DD4's favs so we had to wait and wait and wait and............Then it was fp time for space mountain so DD15 and DH scrambled off while the rest of us had snack time and people watching. Next we go to do haunted mansion. I am amazed that DD6 and DD4 have even agreed to go near it as they have been petrified previous trips. DH decided we need fps for BTMRR which I thought was bad timing because we had entered the line for HM already!! He goes running off and we are getting closer and closer to the door. Two groups went in before DH returned and we went in. DD6 is squeezing my arm cutting all circulation and DH is carrying DD4. DD1 is too new to be scared. So, we are standing in the queue room and this guy is trying to explain to DD6 what to expect so she won't be scared. Whatever he was saying was backfiring because he was scaring me!! What is up on the ceiling? He kept telling me not to let her look up at the ceiling because then she'll really be scared. I wouldn't even look up there!! They were okay the entire time we were on the buggy though and of course loved the end.
Afterwards, it was time for splash mountain. DD1 fell asleep so DD4 and I sat and people watched again while DD6, DD15 and DH rode. It was 12:30. I let DD4 take pictures to occupy her. If she got a picture of your backside, I am sorry, it must be at her level, because there were several bum shots that I deleted. I just sat and watched dozens of people walk over to splash mountain and get surprised by 70 minute wait. The reactions were so funny!! I could have written a book of quotes!
I look at my watch and it is now 2:15. We have ressies at CP for 2:20. They are still not back from splash mountain. I can't call them because they left their phones with me so they wouldn't get wet. They get there at 2:20. Turns out the ride broke down as soon as they got to the bottom of the drop. They sat there for about 45 minutes until someone came and took them out a back way. They were given re-entry passes for splash mountain and fast passes to anything, those would come in handy. We made the mad dash to CP, getting there by 2:35. I explained what happened and we were seated by 2:45. I must say the food is very yummy there, especially the mashed potatos and the shrimp, and the steak!! The character part seemed a bit rushed but the girls loved seeing pooh and the gang even DD1 who has a collection of plush poohs. She says "HI, POOH" with her southern twang!! They signed a birthday card for DD15 which she loved and the girls marched around with the characters.
After lunch, we walked over to Toon Town which was sooooo packed!! DD6 and DD4 went to Donald's boat and I said to DH "don't let them get soaked." and I took DD1 to the playground, where yet again she insisted on going UP the slide, scolding all who tried to use the slide the PROPER way. So, needless to say, we didn't stay in the playground long. We made our way back over to donald's boat and DD6 and DD4 run over to me looking like 2 drowned rats! Soaking wet!! I look at DH who insisted they weren't THAT wet!!! So, that means it's time to go, as the girls are chipping teeth due to all the shivering and chattering!!
The plan was to go back to the hotel, shower, rest, go to dinner, then back to the park for the parade and Wishes! We did all but the rest part, DDs slept in the car on the way back so they rested but that meant DH and I couldn't. So, we went to this restaurant that advertised kids eat free including drinks with adult entree, so we ordered drinks and then when DH and I ordered our meals we were told they had to be from the entree menu which was not the entire menu. DH wanted a burger and fries and I wanted chicken wings and fries. DD15 wanted a quesadilla and fries. We had a late lunch so we didn't want anything heavy. The entrees were full course meals starting at like $20 and up. Not even food we would eat. So we decided not to stay. I had to now pay for dds drinks and they automatically included a tip!!! So, 7 dollars later, we headed back to chinese buffet, quick and easy!!! Then we headed back to MK. We took the monorail and I walk to ask the CM a question and the doors close with my family on and me off!! They opened the doors to another car and I hopped on. When we got to MK, I get off and DD4 is crying hysterically. The informer, DD6 proceeds to tell me when the monorail stopped DD4 went flying and banged her head on the floor. She had her hands tucked in her shirt so she didn't have anything to break the fall. I check out her head, which she tells me hurts alot and DD15 tells me she hit it pretty hard so I decided to take her to the first aid station. When we get to main street, the parade is about to start so I can't get by. DD4 has stopped crying and now doesn't want to move from the prime spot the CM has put us in to walk us across as soon as he can. I finally get her to first aid (better safe then sorry). She gets checked out and is given some ice to put on her head. Next we go secure a place to watch wishes. We find which I believe is the best spot and sit down. When the fireworks start, we realized why no one was in the great spot. The daggone tree is in the way! So we shift over and then we can see a little bit. The fireworks woke up DD1 who now had her second wind and is crying to get out of her stroller as the fireworks are ending and the masses are headed toward the exit. It's 11pm but with the wait for the ferry and then the tram back to our car, we got home at 1AM!! That was the worst part of waiting for anything the whole trip!!! Thank goodness, no early morning plans, we were going to head to the beach whenever we woke up!! Stay tuned!!

So Sorry about this part. Isnt it the worst! It's about this time that I wish I could cut my feet off at the ankles and carry them!
