We (DD 11 going on 21), DH and I, arrived at the Poly around 4 NYE. We first went swimming at the pool (new volcano slide since we were there last), walked to GF to see the decorations and then to Ohana...
About a 10-minute wait and were seated with a view, but we weren't there long enough for the 1st fireworks showing...
The appetizers were the best part in my opinion. The beans were standouts, as were the fried wontons (a bit greasy, but good), wings, salad, etc. Got refills on the beans(!) They were a highlight with my daughter.
She, however, did not like the skewers of meat. Too tell you the truth, I didn't either. All the meats were cold and dry. The shrimp was the best. When we got refills, the meat was hotter, but still rather bland. Our waiter cheerfully got chicken fingers for DD (always a fall back). Pineapple was good (I got the creme brulle) for dessert.
While were were eating, the kids were chasing the coconuts and doing the hula hoops. Just led to the atmosphere.
Service was a B+ (could have used water more often) Food was a B-. Atmosphere was an A-. Worth the money: ? Do again, no.
