I can't find Dawn Dish Wipes. Does anyone know if they still make them, and where I can get them?

I didn't know that Dawn made dish wipes. I've used the palmolive dish wipes on camping trips. I went to the store last summer to buy some more as my camp kitchen was getting low and I noticed I couldn't find them any more :( How long ago were you able to buy the dawn dish wipes?

I have not been able to find them. I did a search for them on the web and found what they look like, but can't find them in any stores. They were a tip on one of the tip boards and I would love to find them in a store.

I too use the palmolive ones..they seem to be the only ones I can find.

I get them at target or my grocery store. The box of them mixed in with the other dish soaps is sometimes hard to spot on the shelf. They work great though. I pack however many I think I will need for each vacation in ziploc bags so I don't have to take the whole container with each time.

I found wipes before at Walmart. Not sure what brand they are but I even have ones that are in a real slim case to fit in purse for wiping out mugs and such.

The last time I saw Dawn wipes was over a year ago - I use them only for WDW trips and still have a few. I bet they went the way of the Brita sports bottle...

I make my own, since I've no longer been able to find them. They're so convenient when traveling. I buy a container of the travel wipes (like for babies), and pull a few out and lay them on my counter. I squirt a few dobs of liquid dish soap on them, and let them dry out over night. Then, I just fold them up and put them in a ziplock bag, and I have my own homemade dish washing wipes. The wipes seem to hold up just fine for washing a few dishes, and I bring the rest of the travel size wipes container with me for hand wipes, table wipes, etc.

Great Idea, I have had no luck finding them. This will work out great. Thanks

Thanks, do you remember the name. I was just there the other day looking for trip stuff, but did not see any dish wipes.

I had an awful time finding them last summer! I finally ordered the Palmolive Dish Wipes off of Ebay! lol. I may never run out because I had to buy like 6 or 12 boxes! lol. I really don't know why, but I HAD to have them! :rotfl2:

Sorry, I don't remember the name. It was something I had never heard of before. It was with the dish detergent, etc.

I was pretty sure that I read on another board that they no longer make them. I wish I could find them also!!!

I just wanted to tell everybody Thank You for giving me something new to try and find. I have searched Wal-Mart and Target so far with no luck, but I am so excited about my mission. Sad isn't it?:lmao:

I like the make-your-own strategy. Do you think it would work with heavy-duty paper towel?

Dawn and Palmolive both had their own versions. They are nowhere to be found in my area anymore. I am down to my last box now. :confused3

...and the Tide tablets! I loved those and can't get them anymore.

We're going camping at FW next week and I've been looking for the Dawn dish wipes for awhile now. Can't find them either - tried WalMart, KMart, Dollar Tree.

I like the idea of making your own, kidsicet, thanks!

I wonder - never tried this - they make disposible baby "washcloths" with the baby wash built in... could those in pinch? I'm sort of the mindset that soap is soap. Anyone try this?

Couldn't you just bring regular dishwashing soap in a sample size shampoo bottle (in a ziplock bag to prevent spills), and use a face cloth at the hotel? Or is it the thrill of the chase that has everyone spend so much time looking for these things?
