STUART, Fla. (KTLA) -- Davy Jones, the lead singer of the Monkees,
died of a heart attack Wednesday morning in Florida. He was 66 years old.

I always disliked when newscasters said "Dead at __" "Died today at __" "Get that coffin ready"

I prefer the words "passed away".
