Sooo glad to hear that your venue is working out, especially after the doubts you were having! Personally, I think it looks gorgeous from the pictures. I really like those centerpieces in the cocktail hour section, how nice that they let you use those! I know what you mean about the chairs, I'm not a huge fan either, but I couldn't imagine paying so much to get other chairs.

The outside is really beautiful! I'm going to keep my fingers crossed that you get your beach ceremony!

I love it! That circlular window is to die for I can't wait to see it in person That place is going to make for an awesome party Oh and you should look into chair covers like the ones in your pics, they are alot cheeper than chivarri's usually. We got chivarri chairs only because our florist was doing a deal of 2.99 a chair which is a steal, but I can't believe those run like $7 to $15 a piece usually I would never pay that much, we had hideous green back chairs at our venue so I feel for you I had to change those, haha

Thanks girl! I feel much much better after going for the walk through and really, really thinking everything through with NO side comments. It was a relief.

The chairs are gross! I found Chiavari's for about $7 a chair.. but I'm still on a mission for cheaper! Or I'm going to try getting different covers myself for cheap off of the internet somewhere! lol

That chair deal is AMAZING. Maybe I can get some luck? Cause those ones I have are blah. We get the covers, I just don't like them. Maybe if I get a job I'll treat myself to some perty chairs! haha. These come with covers but I'm waiting on a price coat for sashes? Otherwise I'm going to have to find SOMETHING to do with them. lol.

The tulle actually has twinkle lights in it. I'm not sure if the venue puts them there or the last wedding did? I will find out though because it was SUPER sloppy and would have to come down or redone to my liking haha.

Thanks for the compliments though! My dress is seriously starting to piss me off. I think on the way to Dave's I'm going to give them a call in a bit. Cause I'v just about had it. If it takes this long there is no reason why I couldn't have CANCELLED it 1 month after ordering it like I had wanted to. (found it somewhere else cheaper and was having some doubts) Stupid weiner heads! They're gunna get slapped!!

So, yesterday was our engagement photo shoot. I was super nervous going into it. I didn't know if things were going to be awkward with my photographer and I after our last conversation? But we got down there way earlier than we expected, well we wouldn't have if Dave just listened to me. Sooner or later he'll realize I know what I'm talking about and I'm always right, duh.

But it was kinda cool to get down there early, we scoped out a few places that we DEFINITELY wanted to get shots by and such. My mom came along with as well. Dave rode his bike down, but I was NOT getting me no helmet hair!

Oh crap, rewind.. we had to reschedule from Sunday because we had some WICKED storms coming in. The sky was ugly but it didn't rain until about 3:45pm. Meanwhile I'm freaking out and getting pissed because of the fact that we rescheduled but it wasn't raining! Once the storm came I was happy. haha. It made me feel better! My friend was also supposed to come and do my hair, dye and style. I love her to death, but she can be uber unreliable. So I texted her to call me because we had rescheduled but I still wanted to have her come and dye my hair. Well, she STILL hasn't answered me and it's 2 days later. Pissed off is not the word to use about me right now. I went to the store and box dyed my hair, which I am always scared to do. Box dye'ing is what effed my hair up to begin with! Thank god it came out alright, I kinda love the color its a purpley, red, brown. Perty perty in the sun. And for photo's I just straightened my hair because I canNOT use a curling iron on my own head for the life of me! But whatever, I'll beat her up on Friday when I see her IF she shows up to do my hair for the wedding.

Okay, so back to engagement photos. lol. My photographer definitely made me feel a lot better about why I had chosen her once we started working together. She's an awesome person. Plus she goes along with whatever we wanted. There were a few things I had talked to her about and forgot to fill Dave in on but he caught up quickly! lol. It was so funny though, my mom was her new assistant for the day, lol. It's kind of a not so good town to leave stuff laying around on the boardwalk in? So my mom was in charge of her camera bag and making sure she didn't get run over by a car. Yep, she was LAYING in the street to get some photos. haha. I honestly think because of who Dave and I are she was able to really get crazy shots unlike what some other people may want. So I'm totally stoked to get them back! We did some sexy shots in which she was like 'uh oh can we do sexy in front of mom?' which I responded 'well if we may be living next to her and she wants grandbabies she's gotta get used to it' lol. She laughed and warned mom and mom turned around! lol. Toooo funny. My bodies in pain from some of the shots though lol. A few of them I would jump up onto Dave's back or front and he'd be holding me. Which I kinda never warned him lol. She's got a few candid's too that look great.

I don't remember if you guys recall me always 'firing' my mom when we went dress shopping?? Well at one point my photographer was taking a shot of us and she was backing up and tripped over her bag almost. She looked at my mom and told her she was fired. lol. It was hysterical because my mom was like 'now I see why you and Jen get along so well, she fires me all of the time!' We all had to laugh.

I really can't wait to see our photo's. Dave and I are super excited. And can't wait. She's posting previews on FB within a few days and then I'll get my disc. We didn't wanna stop shooting! haha. So I think I may have to get another shoot lined up for winter/spring. Just because. ;D Yayay!

We then rode home on the bike, which was the worst ride EVER. Dave had to wear my helmet because dopey him didn't bring different glasses to wear (shields his eyes because he brought his half helmet lol for 'looks'). So there was Dave riding on his Harley wearing a Tinkerbell helmet. Baha. It was quite hysterical. Well to me at least! ;D I had to wear the stupid little helmet in which my ears hurt cause they were cold from the wind and my eyes were tearing and my hair was knotty. Told him next time he can ride alone! lol
