I came over here just to tell you that I absolutely love your new signature icon & came across all of your new updates!!

So let's see in order:
1) Yay for Mary Kay and the extra $$ that comes along with it!
2) Yay for the insoles. I hadn't even thought of that. I have been trying to find something I like in a 3", so that I can have that my DF can be taller too. I am 5'3 and he swears he swears he is 5'8 but not really. 4" and we are about the same size... & another Yay for the tanks. I plan to do the same, so I need to get my butt out to Old Navy. Did they have the flip-flops for $1 yet? I really want to go watch Bridesmaid with my bridesmaids, but it might be too cheesy to have them rock the tanks already!
3) Love the idea of the shoot for your man. I am sure he will enjoy the risque shots. I feel like I would be too embarrassed to have someone take the pics for me, which is a shame because I really think it is a great idea!
4) & Finally YAY, YAY, YAY for Disney!

So awesome about Disney Jen! I am super excited for you. I am getting anxious about MOI TRIP!!!....and the wedding of course ....everything begins in like 33 days. I am excited about getting married, but I am getting the chills thinking about Disney I made t shirts for my girls too from Old Navy I can't wait to see yours! I bought the flip flops as well, but it's probably a good a idea for you to wait then you can see what colors to get later or you could get a color that will go with anything like black??? You don't need to work out for your B pics girl you are beautiful already and your DF fell in love with you just the way you are He will be happy with them believe me! I was concerned when I did mine, but they turned out great

I know, I really cannot wait and hope everything just falls into place!
I'd rather do colors for the flops, so I'm waiting it out! Plus hopefully they'll be $1 soon! I always have next summer too! Ha. Thank god.

$1 flip flops are not around yet.. but I'm keeping my eyes out so I will let you know when I see them! I wanna make flip flop baskets so $1 days are ideal for that!

Aw, don't be embarrassed at all! Embrace your beauty girl! We all have it! You can even do them yourself if you have a timer on your camera? Or get a friend to do it?? I was debating on doing the friend thing. But wanna make sure I get awesome quality photos!

Why would you even agree to be in the wedding in the first place if you don't want to actually do anything. How aggravating!!!

I love the bridesmaid dress(the last one). I think it looks fantastic. What designer is it? I haven't decided yet if I am going to pick one dress or let my girls pick which dress they want from a designer in a certain color.

I have to say I know what you mean about everyone putting in their two cents about what you are going to do for YOUR wedding. My family has been doing the same thing and it is driving me crazy.

I was a bit nervous about those colors at first being a bit dark.. but the 2 really bright ones breaks it up and adds a lot of brighter tones to it which is awesome.

Yeah, the whole FSIL thing sucks. But what're you gunna do? I try not to even think about it anymore. It's just whatever. If worse comes to worse.. I'll just stop including her in things and when she comes to realize she hasn't been included in anything and doesn't have a dress. Woopsies, oh well!

It's from Impressions. I love it! It's seriously my top, along with the other one that has that super deep sweetheart neckline. It's so funny, a friend of mine from HS, his sister got married at my venue the other day AND they were wearing that EXACT dress (the last one) for the bridesmaids in black. ha. It was so funny when I saw the pictures. It'll probably be between the 2 of those. I'm one for everything being the same.. and symmetry and all that. But I MAY let my MOH pick out her own dress as long as it's from the same designer.

Thaanks girlie! I recently heard that my own church has been redone and I won't even recognize it? So I may just have to suck it up and do it there. lol. Even though it's expensive. And I don't want it to come out of my budget! I can't afford it! lool

Hello, hello! Sorry for my lack of posting as of late. I was dealing with a lot. May 1st marked the 3 year anniversary of my Grandfather's death and May 5th the anniversary of his burial. I always get a bit funky around this time of year. I miss him so incredibly much.. especially with all of the wedding planning. But at least he's not in pain anymore and he is watching me from above. He's got the best seat in the house!
I also just got a text this morning from my mom when I got to work and found out that his dog died last night. =[ My uncle came home from his friend's house and found Butchy lying on the floor with the other dogs surrounding him. My uncle said he was even still warm. Poor little guy. I'm so sad. He was my grandpa's best friend. heh. But now they're reunited back up in heaven. He had been suffering from some seizures lately and I guess that it got the best of him. We're not sure exactly how he died.. but his eyes were open. I can't imagine what he's feeling right now.

On a happier note though.. I have purchased wedding earrings! And thought I got wedding shoes.. but they're not going to work out. I'm going to try selling the shoes so if anybody wears a 9.5 in Nina shoes and wants a pair of Ivory ones, let me know! Only $25 plus shipping!

As my Fabulous 5 already know, I've been having a bit of a rough time as of lately as far as wedding planning's been going. So if I disappear for weeks at a time.. don't be alarmed. I'll come back eventually. I'm just going on a hiatus as far as planning goes because I honestly can't take it.. all I do is doubt myself and I've had it with everyone always being against my ideas. Dave also hasn't been helping as he's been saying he would. Our engagement party is coming up in July and I've been trying to get the invitations assembled, but it can't be done as a 1 man show.. I need the extra hands. But something always comes up.. especially if he stops at his house for a little bit. Instead of going on and on about a situation that just isn't relevant to anybody here. I'll just leave it at if nobody starts helping me, I have no problem cancelling the entire thing. And literally almost did on Saturday. Was super close. Told my mother and everything. I simply said 'screw the wedding, we'll get married on our honeymoon and nobody can see it, I really don't care anymore.' So we'll see how it enfolds in the future. But until we hit the one year mark I'm literally not making any decisions or doing anything for the wedding cause all I do is second guess everything. And yes, I'm second guessing my dress again.

So, needless to say, I just wanted to update you girls on where I've been. I'll still be active on the boards.. I'll check out everyone else's planning.. I just can't handle planning mine anymore cause all I do is get discouraged, aggravated, and upset. And I thought the wedding was supposed to be a happy time?

First of all, I'm so sorry to hear about your grandfather and his dog. I know this must be a painful time of year for you

The good news is, you still have plenty of time before your wedding, so you can definitely take a break from planning! You are way ahead of the game. Hopefully when things get closer Dave and your family will realize how important it is. I had some moments too where I just wanted to cancel everything. Good luck, you know we are here for you!
