Heard a great deal about this store. Overall, I just wasn't impressed.
the prices were great but nothing really appealed to me. I can shop any store and find at least one or two items to buy. I drove for 30 minutes and left the store empty handed.
At least my wallet was happy.

Are some of you saying that you pay different prices for things at Steve and Barry's? We have one that is about 45 min away and we just got one 5 min. from our house. They both sell everything in the store for $8.98 all the time.

I have only bought their college sweatshirts and hoodies for my kids and DH(for work) and they have lasted and wash really well. Can't beat it for the price and frankly I don't expect it to last forever.

For those who have had clothing fall apart, have you tried returning the item? I'm just curious how they handle a return of something that has fallen apart?

As a family of six we can get a real good deals our store sells everything for 8.98. Now tell me where else can I get my son a pair of Starberry Tennis shoes for 8.98!!

The Starbury line is one of the best clothing bargains available. My boys are 8 & 12 and go through shoes quickly. Each of them has owned several pairs and they look good, wear well and are comfortable.

I play a lot of golf and walk most of the time. Lately, I've used my Starbury II low tops and they do great. I've worn this "cheap" pair of shoes for a year and they have held up great.

Though this store might not appeal to everyone, it really does have great selections. The men's knit shirts look great and you can often get 2 for $15. Still, the store is geared a little more towards men than women but they've really expanded the women's offerings in the last 2 years.

We love S&B! When we first found out about them, everything was under $15. But now it is $8.98 and you cannot beat that.

We must have had great luck with the clothes/shoes we have from there because we have never had an issue. No shrinkage (granted, I wash everything in cold/dry on low heat), no broken zippers, great wear!
