Yesterday I went to Steve and Barry's for the first time. My sister told me about them, but we never had time to stop and go in one. I bought DH 2 pairs of nice pants for under $18!!!! I also got an embroidered sweatshirt (collegiate) for under $10!!! Since we only had a few minutes that's all we had time to do, but I'm going again. Just thought I would share.

I think you mean Steve and Barry's? (dave and buster's is the arcade/restaurant)

We went to one also...Sarah Jessica Parker-bitten and Amanda Bynes-dear have their clothing lines there.

They have really cute logo t-shirts, too.

I was so excited when Steve and Barry's came to our area, however I found you get what you pay...

All the shirts shrunk to unwearable and the zipper in the one pair of pants I did purchase broke after 5 or so wearings.

Same here. I like their stuff, but the the reason they are so cheap is partly because its made cheap. Most of the stuff that I've bought there is now unwearable. But worth the 7.95 I got out of it I guess!

I've had really good luck with the SJP Bitten line. I bought stuff when it first came out last year and its still in good shape. I bought some cute winter coats in November and they lasted through what was an extended harsh winter. Her stuff is really cute!

Strangely, I've found the Dear by Amanda Bynes stuff to be sized larger than usual, so beware of that.

For cutesy fad stuff Steve and Barry's can't be beat!

when they first came to our area, I loved it. Not so much anymore. The prices really went up and the quality seems to have gone down. I hate it because it was a fun place to shop.

I have on a new pair of Bitten jeans today and Bitten peep toe shoes. For the price, I am not expecting them to last forever. But the shoes I have to say are unbelieveably comfortable. More comfortable than the nine west pair I bought!

We buy most of DH's jeans there. Mostly because he "forgets" to change them and goes and works on something dirty and greasy, so it isn't a huge loss.

They have an exceptional return policy. Just keep your tags and receipts somewhere and return if it doesn't work out.

I have had good luck with everything I have gotten there.

I love shopping here, especially for jeans for my 6yo. He tears holes in the knees of ANY brand of jeans he wears so getting them cheap is great!

I have 3 boys and we LOVE shopping there. I Recently had weightloss surgery, too, so buying cheap, nice clothes is a MUST for me right now.

I have 3 pairs of the Bitten jeans and they have so far outlasted my more expensive pairs without wearing out/tearing/etc...I've had really good luck with all the clothes I've bought from there. They are all still in really good shape after a year or more.

I love Steve & Barry's. We don't get to go very often (not close to us).
I went after Christmas and they had everything in the store for $8.98. I bought trouser jeans, Bitten jeans, khaki pants and a Bitten purse.
The purse got a little worn out (but most of mine do, I carry too much stuff in them :goodvibes ). The jeans have been wonderful! The Bitten pair have been worn the most and they are doing great.
I took my girls in January and they got several message tees and they still look great.

Their stuff seems really cheaply made, for the most part. My boys do love their "message" tshirts, though.

Dh buys his work jeans there... I hate spending 40$ on a pair of jeans that are going to get ruined with in a few months... So far they've held up pretty good! I got my girls a few sweaters there in the winter (black friday weekend I think) for $2.98 EACH! they have held up great as well! Their toddler stuff looks too short for DS. I'd have to shop in little boys for him and they are too wide.. I'm VERY close to one of their stores but I'll admit I haven't been in there awhile. I can find clothes for the kids for less than 10$ a piece most other places.

Though we don't have a S&B location nearby, we shop at these stores whenever we travel.

I've purchased several pairs of men's jeans, Starbury shoes for all family members as some point, sweatshirts, coats, etc.

The ONLY issue we've ever had was with a letterman type jacket that I purchased (Bowling Green of course:) ) . One of the buttons came off and I've had to glue it back. Otherwise, all of the clothing we've purchased has worn well.

The $8.98 sale has been great. I've purchased extra shoes and put them away so that I'll have them when my current ones get trashed. Depending on the location, there can be several styles of the Starbury shoes......they produce much more than basketball shoes.

The collegiate stitched on sweatshirts are a family favorite. Great deals that look pretty good.

We bought hoodies there 3 years ago. Mine was a 'Navy' one with gold silk lettering attached with a white embroidered edge. A few of the edges of the letters have frayed and become unattached from the embroidery, but thats the only issue we've had-and that took about 2 years to happen! For $9.98 per sweatshirt they were a VERY good deal. They're nice and thick, too.

I look forward to trying the Bitten line, but I haven't had a day to get up to the store yet with out the kids. And the S&B is at a mall where they closed the Disney Store, so I don't go to that mall often.

We are big S&B fans here as well. SJP Bitten jeans are the only jeans that are petite in waist and length to fit me. Also I love Venus Williams athletic clothing for working out.

As a family of six we can get a real good deals our store sells everything for 8.98. Now tell me where else can I get my son a pair of Starberry Tennis shoes for 8.98!!

CHEAP STUFF- You get what you pay for! Bought 2 pair of jeans, the first day I wore them zipper broke , 2nd pair ripped after 2 weeks. I'll go back to old navy.
