Daughter is panicked

We did a behind the scenes tour of the stage/theater on the Fantasy in August 2017. It wasn't advertised anywhere. We asked about it at Guest Services when we first got on board. They told us that it wasn't scheduled, but that they'd see what they could do. A could days later, we received an invitation on the fish outside our stateroom. It was on an at sea day and lasted 45 minutes or so. The head sound technician (I hope I got that right) took us on a tour of the theater and we ended up on the stage. It was really interesting!

You might have your daughter try. If it happens, then consider it a special case of pixie dust.

My DD's favorite part of Disney is the live Theater, (She has 2 theater degrees - Performance and Masters of Theater Education and teaches at a middle school/high school charter school). So she is worried about missing a show due to Palo. We have a 6:00 ressie. Will we make the 8:30 show???

If you let them know as you are seating, they'll make sure you are done in time for the show. I've done this before and never missed a show!

You will probably be fine. But, also, if she is a trained theater artist and sees a lot of performance she might (and I mean no snark here!) be disappointed in the shows. They are quite good for being on a ship, but they are...on a ship.

(I'm a theater professional. We go to the cruise shows if it's convenient and my kids want to, and we don't try to get in early).

You said that much better than me! (And I'm not a theater processional)

Preach! Those are very good shows with great performers but it's not Broadway.

2 hours is enough time for a very nice dinner without being rushed. Let your server know. Agree they are not up to Broadway quality but they are nice productions given the space constraints.

For the obnoxious, snarky responses... Unfortunately in this life we do not get to choose what induces anxiety. We can only try to manage it with accurate information and positive self talk. My kid is part of a "be kind" campaign at school... The internet sure could use that!
