Date Night with my husband...any suggestions?

During our stay I think my husband and I will have one night out for a date night. We will probably have eaten already but would love to find somewhere to go have a few drinks and maybe some dessert. I was thinking we should find something at one of the hotels or maybe downtown Disney. Any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks so much!

We love the Cali Grill for our date nights! We always have dinner there, but I think you can just do drinks at the bar? You might be able to make a reservation just for dessert, I'm not sure. If you can get an ADR for around the time of Wishes, it is an awesome view!

Since you said a few drinks, maybe you could drink around the monorail. One drink per hotel lounge? Sounds nice.

I would enjoy the Epcot area --- Dinner at Flying Fish Cafe then enjoy the boardwalk entertainers and nightlife... never been to Jelly Rolls or Atlantic Dance on the boardwalk (always had DS with us) but sounds like fun. Or just stroll around Epcot and enjoy some different drinks.

Mizner's Lounge in the Grand Floridian. The band plays just outside and it's a nice cozy spot.

My favorite lounge is Il Mulino's at the Swan. It's kind of dark/intimate in there.

Next choice would be bluezoo's lounge at the Dolphin.

Both of these places have outstanding desserts.

Todd English's Blue Zoo has a nice atmosphere and the food/drinks/desserts are really good! It's in the Dolphin.

I would suggest the lounge area in Citricos. You can order off the menu there, and they have fabulous desserts. It's easy to get in to and it's a nice, fairly low-key relaxing environment.

If you get to the BoardWalk, be sure to stop by the Belle Vue lounge, inside or on their balcony.

If we had an idea where you were staying it might help. An hour each way of Distrans puts a damper on the evening. But do have to say that BelleVue Lounge is our home bar. Best quiet bar.

If you'd like an "exotic" location, try Jiko (or the Victoria Falls Lounge) in the Animal Kingdom Lodge... it feels like you're in Africa. You could have drinks and grab some dessert, then go see giraffes, etc.

What a way to get away while you're away!

for ours, we're doing a round of mini-out at fantasia gardens and then dinner at Shula's Steakhouse (across the street from mini-put) and then we plan on walking down to the boardwalk for a drink. it's about 5 minutes away.

I have to agree the majority. My wife and I have a great time sitting outside at the boardwalk with drinks. it is relaxing, but at the sametime you have enterainment.

We love going to Jellyrolls, the dueling piano bar at the Boardwalk. It's not quiet or romantic, but it's fun and lively. They have great drink specials, but the only food there is the complimentary popcorn. If you want dessert too I recommend that you bring it in from the Boardwalk Bakery.

We have one night for date night on our next trip and my husband picked La Hacienda. He enjoyed the food, loved the margaritas, and we had great service when we ate there a couple months ago (adults only then as well). We also enjoy Epcot with just the two of us and being able to have some drinks around the world. Finish it off with a romantic viewing of Illuminations!

I loved CG...the views are wonderful, service is top notch, and its at a resort with a monorail in case you want take a ride when ur done eating.. During the firworks at magic kingdom they dim the lights, pipe in the music... Its enchanting... Not to mention the food... YUMMO!

California Grill for their souffle and dessert wine! Go when you'll see the Magic Kingdom fireworks.
