I got the idea from this thread:
The kids are grown up, and we still invite the kids about every other year to stay with us when we use points. This year we're going to OKW for two weeks during Thanksgiving. But of course they can go off separately and do things on their own most of the time. We just hang out together for certain times.
Looks like this time, five or six kids are coming. But during the stay we're going to have a breakout night or two for myself and DW while the rest of the adult kids are at OKW. Sort of a like going off on a date while on vacation.
So now during our OKW reservation, we have a single night reservation booked at VGF, and waitlisted a two night reservation to replace it if it fills. Also, we have a separate two night waitlisted reservation at BLT (I made it just to think about right now because we haven't stayed there since the refurb). Preference is that the two nights at VGF fills, secondly the two nights at BLT, but if neither goes through we'll still have our one night at VGF. We'll probably hang out at MK during part of that time since we're in the area.

Staying at the Poly longhouses on non-Poly points next month and have such a desire to stay in the tower that I’m about willing to grab a single open night in the middle of my stay just to experience it. Would cost me 20 points. My wife only half thinks I’m crazy for considering it. It’s crazy right? I shouldn’t waste 20 points right….right? Guys? Right?
