Date Night Dining Suggestion?

Someone give me a suggestion for a great Date Night meal for my husband and I. We have gone to the California Grill before and just loved it but since we'll be doing the DDP on our next trip, we'd like to try something else. We are willing to use two credits, if we must. But it would be nice to try something that doesnt require us to. And we aren't limiting ourselves to 'participating' restaurants if something really appeals to us.

Thanks,

My first suggestion would have been CG but, since you have already been there. My next suggestions would be either Jiko or Coral Reef. Both have a great atmosphere and the food at each is fantastic, I don't think you would be disappointed with either.:)

IMO, Le Cellier is a great restaurant for a romantic, cozy atmosphere and a date night. It's a good 1 credit choice, vs. having to use 2. The food is wonderful!

For one credit restaurants I really like Le Cellier and Kona Cafe, I'd consider Artist Point though, which is two-credits.

Good suggestions so far.

I'd also add Spoodles and Raglan Road to the list.

I cast my vote for Jiko...the seating is a bit more spread out than LeCellier so you'll have more privacy. Plus the food is really good and it's fun to explore the AKL before or after dinner. There's also a comfy bar just upstairs from Boma and Jiko...I forget the name--but it has a nice atmosphere, too.

If you are willing to pay OOP, I would strongly suggest Bistro de Paris at Epcot. One of the best places on property to eat and since it's not on the plan, it's not near as popular or crowded. It's small, intimate, romantic, has some lovely window tables that look out onto the World Showcase and has an outstanding French menu, wine pairings are an option.

Now THAT sounds like a plan. We might pay out of pocket after all if we got that kind of perk...not on the plan, great food, AND great view.

The others we are considering are Jiko (we're staying at AKV anyway) but my SIL didnt like it much...she said she wouldnt waste two credits on it anyway. I'll also look into the bar upstairs at AKL. I also like the idea of Kona Cafe and the Coral Reef.

I've been to Artist Point twice and it was okay. Le Cellier was a bit too dark for my taste. Reminded me of a Steak N Ale. ha.

My first choice would be Narcosee's. hey have a grat wine menu and you can watch Wishes from your table or outside on the veranda. It's a 2TS, but well worth it IMO.
