I am not speaking from personal experience as I am a travel trailer camper at the Fort so I may be wrong on this.
My understanding is that the cabins have standard resort room phone services. If this is the case, the phone should have a data port or the phone could be disconnected and the cable plugged into your laptop.
If this should fail, there are phone/dataport hookups in the lobby of the settlement outpost or a special room in the middle of the check-in lane. I have used these many times and have gotten the fastest connection speed of anywhere in the world that I have been >50K
Dh brings his laptop on our trips too. A bit of work, and a great way to download all our pictures.
The only internet access in the cabins is via the telephone - and it is very slow dial-up. There also is a fee for outgoing phone calls that also count towards internet dial-up.
DH did bring a long cord to hook up the phone to the laptop so he was able to sit on the couch and use the small table.
We're definitely bringing the laptop, so we can download the camera pics daily, but email access would be nice, too, though not essential by any means!
