DAS with removal of standby line

There is a new test at MK with A&E Meet and Greet, an possibly at Epcot with TT and Soarin - no standby line, either FPP+ or you have to go to Park Support and get a paper Fast Pass for much later with a 30 min return time if still available. Temporarytouristdotcom had that info posted a day before the test, and as it seems it was not a rumor (there is a long thread about the test actually happening at MK yesterday). According to **************** website visitors with DAS would not be given return time on DAS (since there is no standby line), but paper FP with return time as everyone else (I understand 30 min window later in the day?). Visitors with DAS would then return via FPP line instead of waiting in standby line with return ticket. I am wondering if anyone used DAS yesterday for A&E and how the whole process worked with no standby line? I am really worrying what is that going to do to DAS system...

1) During the test, if FP's are gone, they are gone, even for DAS.
2) Have not heard of any exceptions, except for MAW-type guests.
3) Maybe others have had different experiences or knowledge.

This is what I have read too and what was on Temporary Tourist's information.
From her blog and website, Temporary Tourist's daughter works Fantasyland, often at the Princess meeting area.

I do not know how long they will analyze the data, but I expect there would be some level of analysis done before they decide whether to change it permanently. It's also possible thur could extend the test.
