Dark Circles Under Your Eyes???

I know that I've always hated the dark circles under my eyes but after last night UGGHHH, I can't stand it anymore. Had a few pictures done with my family last night for Christmas Eve and I just hate the way I look in pictures. I know not many people like the way they look in a picture, but whenever I'm in one all I can see are the dark circles!!! It literally looks like I'm a racoon!!! If you have this problem, have you found any product that works good? I've used all kids of concealer, but it's not doing it. HELP!!!

I don't know if there is any truth to it or not, but one time a beautician told me that people make the mistake of getting a light shade of concealer, but they should actually be getting a darker shade. I'm the first to admit that I don't understand the logic behind this theory, but who knows, there may be some truth to it.

Anyway, Merry Christmas!! I just got everything wrapped and FINALLY put under the tree. Off to bed I go.

I think you would be better off finding out why you have the dark circles, most likely you have allergies to something. Make and appointment with an allergy dr and see what is going on.

I have dark circles under my eyes but I do pretty well at concealing them with my makeup. However, the other day I woke up and had HORRIBLE circles. I had some sinus issues going on and wasn't feeling well plus I've been eating lots of holiday sweets and I think my eye area was also a bit puffy. The first thing I thought when I saw myself was "Oh, these circles look like those "allergic shiners" I've heard about." My make up did not want to work that day!

I think you need to investigate if your circles are caused by allergies or sinus issues. Those type are very hard to conceal.

They are most likely allergy shiners. Take dairy out of your diet. Black circles is a classic sign of a dairy issue. Remove it and your circles will go away. I have seen it in my own kids.

mine are veins close to the skin. W/o makeup, I look like someone socked me! Left eye is worse than the right. I use Lauren hutton concealor and it does a pretty good job.

I used to have dark circles until my iron level was checked and I started taking iron pills.
