We're arriving at DL on March 1st (Dapper Day) and I'd love to be able to take advantage of their discounted tickets. I, for one, would love to dress up, but I don't know that I could convince my DH or son. I've read the fine print on the tickets and it said that the participant may purchase up to 8 tickets for family and friends. If I get tickets for my whole family, is the cast member going to give my DH a hard time at the gate if he isn't dressed up? It looks as if there isn't any sort of formal registration process.

There is no registration for Dapper Day, all discounts are valid for anyone that finds them...

Just go to the dapper day website and they will have a link to the tickets posted.

Thanks for the replies! It looks as if the discounted tickets are valid from 2/23 - 3/6, does that mean you may use them starting on any day? For example, Dapper Day is 3/1, but could we use them for the 2nd-4th? Or, does the ticket have to be used on the actual day?

It's a whopping 3% discount on a 5-day pass. And the fine print says that if you're not attending the event, they can yank your ticket with no refund. I'll just take the Ebates discount instead since I'm not doing the actual Dapper Day event.

For three day hoppers, it's $850 vs $1038, so that's a pretty big savings.

I'm not sure about the math (I'm assuming 2 adults, 2 kids?), but 3-day hoppers at the discounted rate are $217 per adult and $208 per kid. Normal price on disneyland.com is $226 per adult and $215 per kid.

That's about 4% for three day hoppers. But, hey, money is money. As long as you are actually participating in the event.

It is 2 adults and 2 kids. The normal prices are actually $265 & $254 (it's an additional $39 for the hopper option). And yes, participating in the event.

Right you are, Mama! Glad you caught that. It DOES make a nice difference. Thanks!

Heck, that kinda money might be worth bringing a suit for! Of course, I doubt I could get everyone in my group to go along with it....

Right!?! I know that there's no way my sister and brother in law will participate but I called the group sales lady and she said that as long as I'm participating in the event, then it doesn't matter if the rest of my group is. Apparently the participant can purchase 8 tickets for "family and friends", as long as you're not reselling them obviously.
