Well I thought it would be good to list something about yourself that your cyber friends wouldnt know.........

Mine is: I curse like a sailor in person. I have to restrain myself around people I dont know. So if the f bomb slips out at DATW please forgive me.

In person I am really very shy. No, really. Until I get to know someone in person and that "vibe" carries over from online to RL- I tread very carefully.


And I have the attention span of a gnat!

Well...I'm sure I could list a couple of things on here:

1) I'm actually a very shy person....for about the first hour or so. So...if you see me at the meeting place for DATW...please come up to me and say hi. You can't miss me. I'm very...well how do I say this without gettin into trouble..cushiony at the top Idk how else to say it!!

2) I can take things very personal sometimes. I try not to when I'm around new people because I know that we're all feeling each other out...so I'm saying I'm sorry in advance if I do that. I'm sure the alcohol will help me not to be that way!!

3) I also cuss...but I try to keep it maintained...unless you're a cursor and then it's on baby!!! LMAO!! Just kidding!!

Oh and probably one of my biggest pet peeves is when I'm talking and someone cuts me off to tell their story!!

But...otherwise than those things...I'm a very laid back person 98% of the time!! I can't wait to meet all of you guys!!

I speak several languages. I speak English and Spanish fluently, some Hebrew, French and a tiny bit of Japanese.

I find it funny when Latin people, who can't speak English very well struggle to say something until I respond in Spanish.

Like Liz's husband Gene - I am terrible with names. I can be introduced to someone and within 30 seconds I'm sure to have forgotten your name. I think that's why I tend to be more on the shy side - so.......... that said.......... when we meet face to face in December please accept my apologies now if I forget your name.

It's starting to look like we're going to have a gang of shy people. I do not like going into crowds and walking up to people and talking to them. Once I get to know you, though, it's like we've been friends forever. Maybe we should start a shy people club

I also tend to cuss like a sailor. It's gotten better since we've had the boys, particularly when one starts dropping things and saying "son of a *****", or walking around saying "what the h-e-double-hockey-sticks".

And I too forget names. I'll have a nametag on, though

Let's see, something different - I grew up in Philly, spent a few high school years in south Jersey, graduated from high school and went to college in southern California, before moving to Wisconsin then Minnesota. People just can't figure out my accent And no, I am not from a military family, my dad works for Amtrak, and yes, it was a guy that got me to the midwest (not DH, though - we like to call him the delivery guy ).

I am also the proud mother of a very special little boy with lots of mental and emotional health issues who is taking his first trip to WDW next month.

I too, am horrible with names. add in alcohol and you can forget it!

some odd things- once i know you, watch out, i TALK way too much! I prefer emailing over talking on the phone. HATE talking on the phone. I played soccer up until 2 years ago at 34years of age (and might play again if I find the time!). I am type A and a total neat freak to the point that my 2yo is now picking up on it and follows me around with his own broom and swiffer duster.

I played soccer up until 2 years ago at 34years of age (and might play again if I find the time!).

I played soccer most of my life too. I quit when we moved from New Mexico. There are no interesting women's leagues in Pittsburgh. The weather is just not good enough.

My life is an open book, but here's a could interesting factoids about me:

•I am the fifth child, of the fifth child of the fifth child.
•I am the first male member of my father's family to not serve in one of the Armed Forces.
•I attended Walt E. Disney Elementary School for grades 1-3.
•I have a hard time remembering things, especially people, by sight alone. I need to hear you talk or see you walk to associate your name. (Changing avatars is really hard on me sometimes.)
•As a baby, our family dog would lay at the foot of my crib and not let anyone except my parents near me if I was asleep.

No one believed me, but I'm also very shy. And, when I was 18 I lived with three guys, all of them bartenders (one was James). But, I picked up a bit of a potty mouth. Of course, James outgrew that phase of his life, I have not. Sorry.

Hmm, something about me. I don't see very well. That saying, I am blind in one eye and can't see out of the other is quite true for me. I went mostly blind in one eye when I was pregnant with DD1. And, it would have to be my good eye. The other one is impossible to correct the vision to 20/20.

My turn -

I would not describe myself as shy but more of a person who takes some time to get started. I tend to observe first but, once I get started I can be a major talker.

I am seriously directionally challenged. I can get lost anywhere, even in places I have been to for years Talking about not knowing the right and left - I know that my watch is always on the left. I have to check to know.

Finally, I can be bribed with diet coke!
