DAP and MVMCP Dec 13

So...we're almost at single digits on the countdown. I'd love to see us have a meeting place to watch the parade or fireworks as a group...all of us with tears in our eyes feeling the Dis-love! Does anyone have any suggestions for a location? (...and if this has already been done, catch me up!)

Quick question...does Tink fly from the castle on MVMCP nights? Unbelievably, I've never managed to see this!

The rules are, if you suggest an idea, you get to implement it. So name the place and time. :)

 I will do some research on timing and best viewing and report back!

Friends of mine found the rose garden next to the castle on the tomorrowland side of the castle is a great place to see the fireworks. We could meet there for Wishes, or maybe in front of it for the parade and then decide from there.

I am going to be running late for the event because I am also doing the Boma Dinner at AKL. That will be an interesting day since I will be doing Breakfast at Boma and Dinner at Boma. I always make an effort to go to Boma for breakfast at least once a trip. I couldn't get an ADR for any other day so it looks like it will be twice in one day for me.

From what I've read, the second parade seems to be the way to go...much less crowded. Would that suit most people? 9:30 fireworks, 10:30 parade? I like the rose garden area idea...

Works for me.. I always do the late events as they are less crowded. :santa:

It's perfect. We can all meet up at the entrance to the rose garden at the bridge to Tommorowland at about say 9ish to 915ish. then get close enough to the parade route for the parade and maybe socialize till the fireworks. I remember last year during Mousefest we all went down into the gardens towards the old boat dock and we can get a better view of the fireworks themselves. now if there are people that want to watch the stage show then maybe staying at the top is better. we can always as a group go do a ride or something.

I have always found that the best way to go. Sounds like a plan is forming!

My experience at MNSSHP was the late parade was better for viewing the parade. The early parade was hard to see, due to the large crowd.

Kellygurlz74 and I will there with bells on. Well, not literally (at least I don't think so - I don't know what she has packed yet)

Anyway, we already have tickets :goodvibes

I was going to by a bracelet of bells. DP made me put it down. He is just no fun.

My family and I already purchased tickets for Dec 10th. We were planning on catching the Eagles/Giants game on Sunday night. GO EAGLES!:thumbsup2

Anyone else have plans to go on the 10th?

What ever everyone decides at this point is great. I for one need to get the schedule correct with the parades and fireworks. When I posted my last message i wasn't thinking when i was writing. Anyway if u are on twitter DM me if things change. I am still trying to get my email address changed on facebook to my mobile email so i dont get messages easily from facebook other then those I friend.

Val & I are doing YSH instead. You guys have fun and behave yourselves without us!!

Sounds like a good idea.

Todd, have you thought about bells on your tiara? I think that would work.

The forecast says rain -- Since I rarely go to WDW, I don't know how MVMCP works in the rain. Does anyone have any experience with this?
