Your first look pictures are awesome! You looked absolutely ravishing Danielle! We are debating the first look...but after the way you described it, I think we are leaning more towards it now :)

Can't wait to read more!

I just came across your planning journal today, and I realized we have a mutual friend. I had heard about your wedding a couple months back from a fellow CM in the Salem store, and so when I came across your PJ today I had to start reading. I'm only on page 16 right now, but love everything so far. Congratulations on your wedding!

Wow, you look great! Your dress was so beautiful. The first look pictures are so sweet, especially the montage with you tearing up. I can't wait to see more of your big day!

Gorgeous, absolutely gorgeous!!! You were the most beautiful of brides and the series of 'first look photos' is just stunning!!!!

Loved your first look! I was all nerves before my ceremony and was wishing we had done a first look - but nooo, DH didn't want one! ;) I was fine after half a xanax haha! You looked gorgeous and I love your make-up, jewelry, hair, etc! Beautiful!

I love all of the pics! Your something old, new, borrowed, and blue are really cool pictures. It also looks like you girls had a ton of fun getting ready. Your first look is so sweet, the photos really capture how genuinely happy and in love the two of you are. Just beautiful!

Thanks, Teresa! I really appreciate all the compliments. You should definitely think about doing a 'first look'--It really helped make the day feel more relaxed.

 Hello, fellow TDS cast member! I have a hunch who told you about my wedding. Thanks for following along and for the well wishes!

Such a beautiful bride!!

:lmao: I'm glad you had a xanax! I would have been the same way. Chris wanted to be traditional, but he also understood that I would have gotten so severely nauseous from being anxious that he gave in to the 'first look' idea. Thanks!

Wedding Day : Portraits & Going to the Chapel

Once our 'first look' was completed, Carol released our bridal party into the open. They rushed over and explained how they watched us through the windows. We quickly grouped together and started taking more pictures.

After a few other various family combinations, Carol had us proceed back into the lobby and make our way to the transportation. It was getting close to ceremony time and she wanted to make sure our large bridal party had enough time to get prepared. The bridesmaids and groomsmen packed onto the mini-bus, a.k.a. what they deemed as "the party bus" :rotfl: , and headed over to the Wedding Pavilion. The Rolls pulled up just for for the two of us and Chris burst with excitement.

They loaded me in and we headed over to the pavilion! The Wedding Pavilion looked beautiful, as always. Now don't let this picture deceive you--our wedding day was freakishly cold for a November day in Florida. The high was only in the low 60's and it rapidly chilled off as the day progressed. :guilty:

Florida sunshine, you were not warm enough!

We headed over the bridge and went our separate ways--Chris into the groom's room and me into the bride's vestibule. While the bridesmaids were making their final adjustments and adding the finishing touches, the little girls were acting adorable. :cutie:

Carol came in, rounded up the troops, and I was left alone. I stood in the vestibule taking in the silence. I took a moment to reflect on what had already happened throughout the day and thought about what was to come. It was all very surreal...I was about to get married! :bride:

Processional

While I was taking the moment to reflect, our wedding processional had already begun. Our parents walked to, "You'll Be In My Heart" from Tarzan. My mother and I have a very strong bond over Phil Collins. No matter where we are--if a Phil song starts playing, we call the other person immediately. I never told my mom what song she would be walking into, so after the wedding she told me she recognized it and wanted to cry!

Also, to the side of the altar, we had our memorial candle set up.

In loving memory of our grandparents

All the gentlemen walked into, "Whale of a Tale" from 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea, which is one of Chris' all-time favorite Disney movies. I thought the instrumental version of this song would be silly, but it turned out to be really lighthearted and fun.

Next were my wonderful ladies--They walked into, "Married Life" from UP. The movie UP has a special place in my heart, because that is the movie we saw the night before Chris proposed.

Finally, our ring bearer, Nick and our flower girls, Hannah, Phoebe and Damia went down the aisle. Everyone was quite nervous about Phoebe making it down--she is the most shy little girl and always wants to be by her momma. Well, with Kitty Marie in tow, she made it down the aisle! We were all so proud.

Everyone was inside the pavilion now, except for me and my daddy. Carol led me to my father and told us to wait for the bells. They melodiously chimed from the little steeple, when all of a sudden my father jokingly exclaimed, "it's for you!", poking at the similarities to that of a doorbell. Carol, myself, and the rest of the DFTW crew that was standing there, burst out in a roar of laughter. It is now one of my fondest memories of wedding day. And with that, the doors flung open and the "Traditional Bridal Chorus" began to play.

I managed to catch up and read all the way through to your post today. Everything came out so beautiful. It must have been amazing to have your dream wedding go so perfectly.
It was funny to see the part where you got your Mulan doll, because I heard all about her...I know they were all so excited to have gotten her for you.
Congratulations again on everything and I look forward to seeing the photos from the rest of your special day.

*sigh* I LOVE all of your pictures, they are simply beautiful, and you looked beautiful on your wedding day! Simply magical. :) I was excited to see your pictures as well since we are using a similar color scheme as you used. :)

I love reading through your stories of your days leading up to the wedding and now seeing the pictures of your wedding day ~ knowing we were so close and just a few hours apart with our fairytales!

Again, you looked gorgeous and can't wait to read the rest!
