Danielle & Chris: 11-11-11 WP/ADH/DP Wedding PJ/TR - Complete *(1 Year Anniversary)

The BM dresses and jewelry looks fabulous! Your newsletter is great and I'm sure it will be so helpful to your shower guests. I had a shower in May and many people were asking all sorts of questions about things you touched on in your newsletter for your guests. We had all the info on our website, but apparently not everyone was checking it as often as I do. :rolleyes1 Your schedule of events sounds so fun! I want to head to FL a week early and join the party!

I love it all! The dresses, the necklaces, the newsletters, the Shower- HOW EXCITING!!!! :yay:
I'm glad I read your newsletter. It turns out we'll be at Epcot Saturday, too LOL. And a lot of my guests will also be staying at Carribbean Beach! It is absolutely not pushy to hand these out at Your Shower. People will be appreciative, I'm sure. Most restaurants (characters esp.) book up 3 months in advance, so it's good that they'll get the info immediately.

Just one piece of advice- while the average is usually around 70-75 degrees in Nov, last year the wedding of our weekend was 30 degrees. Make sure to tell your guests to check the weather frequently, because quite often we will have weather here in FL that is 80 one day and 30 the next. But my friends and I will be doing the 'good weather dance' all week before the wedding, so hopefully it'll be balmy that day! :cool1:

Everything looks fabulous!!!! Love the newsletter and the color of the BM dresses! It matches our colors perfectly! =]

Can't wait to see more, you're getting so close!!

looks great!!!

you'll be coming out of your rehearsal brunch when we're on our way to afternoon tea :goodvibes we're also braving the saturday crowd at f/w--it's really the only day we can.

i'm getting out of control excited!!

i think i'm going to ship a box of stuff to the GF. i know i won't have that much compared to a big wedding-but i won't be as low maintenence this trip, lol. so stuff like hair product, face wash that *could* get on my clothes, lol--i will throw them away before coming home. maybe my hair dryer and flat iron.. etc. when are you going to ship yours--how many days before??

your newsletters look fantastic :) great job!!

Oh man, we'll have to hunt each other down at Epcot...even though it's going to be crazy! Yeah, I think shipping things to the Grand is the only way to travel. I'm thinking of shipping them the weekend before Halloween, but I don't know if that is too far in advance? But then again, there will be the weekends and such to worry about...hmmm...

There is a whole tribe of us brides going into Epcot on Saturday, that'll be so much fun!!! And oh my gosh, don't even tell me about the fluctuating temperatures...I want it to be WARM in Florida! :rotfl: I'm holding you to that 'good weather dance'!

Thanks lady!!! :)

So, I've had this present in the back of my mind for MONTHS and I finally sat down and made them! I wanted to make my girls princesses princess: when I gave them their presents (jewelry) at the rehearsal brunch. So I made them a certificate with their favorite princess and put them in little frames. It's just a little something that I hope they'll save as a keepsake. :)

Those are so AWESOME Danielle! Did you do the autograph's yourself?? They're so pretty!

Danielle sweetie - Everything looks wonderful, I absolutely love the certificates you made. You are so clever.
Just a little thing, I don't know if you are aware but Princesses are not addresses as 'Her Majesty' but instead as 'Her Royal Highness'. Majesty is exclusively for Kings and Queens. It probably doesn't matter in this case though, as most likely all these princesses went on to be Queens!!!!! I deliberated long and hard whether to tell you this, because they are so beautiful that I would feel really awful if you started them all over again (and that is clearly unnecessary) but thought you may like to know for future projects!!!!
i myself have DISigned things along a similar theme for people over on the 'Creative DISigns' board (mainly intended to go on tees, but they are not as pretty as yours!! Well done sweetie!!!

Thanks--I actually found all the autographs online and then played with them in Photoshop. I could never write that well! :lmao:

:lmao: Joanne--I feel so silly. I actually questioned myself when I was making them too! I kept on repeating the line from Alice in Wonderland where she exclaims, "YES, your Majesty!" and I was like...Hmm...that's to the Queen. Oh, well...they won't really know the difference. I would change them, seeing as they didn't take too much time, but they are now glued into the frames! But no worries, I can handle creative criticism. :)

Danielle sweetie - It was far from criticism!!! I love your certificates!!!

K I just had a lightbulb moment! Do you mind if I use this idea for our FG? She loves loves LOVES princesses and I think this would be perfect for her! Only with your okay of course :)

:Pinkbounc Me too! Me too! I was going to do something like this but hadn't quite figured out exactly how. If it's OK I'd like to steal your idea and use it! :worship:

Oh, I didn't mean that to sound so harsh, Joanne! :goodvibes I was just meaning I really do appreciate it, especially from an artistic standpoint. I went to school for fine arts so I love getting feedback/critiques! It's very helpful!

Ok, so, I feel really bad about doing this, but I have to throw a little rant out here...Mainly because I don't quite know who else to vent to. :guilty: Well, it all started this past Saturday, I woke up not quite feeling up to par. My stomach was queasy and I just figured it was from eating dinner so late the night before. That night, I had a horrible sleep (very little to none, actually). I got up early and started to road trip back to Pennsylvania from Massachusetts with my Daddy. Well, my stomach felt the same as it did the day before, and before I knew it, I was yurking out my car window on the side of the MassPike and again in Connecticut. I tend to be a nervous traveler (when flying), but this was just disappointing, because I LOVE car rides. I think it's just the anticipation of everything starting to creep up on me and not giving my mind a rest. Going home and spending time with my mother (not my most favorite thing in the world), bridal shower (that only 2 people have RSVPed yes for), my other MOH hasn't even begun planning our other shower which is supposed to be next month, the wedding being a little bit over 2 months away, thinking about what and where I'll be in the next year or so...it's all very overwhelming. So now I'm home in PA and I still have the jitters. I don't know why, but I cannot shake it. I've woken up these past couple mornings stricken with panic, increased heart rate and nervous stomach. My Mommy keeps yelling at me to stop my worrying, but it's not that easy for some reason. I've never been a big worry-wart in the past, but I do tend to get myself all worked up in anticipation to something that is exciting (like Christmas, my birthday) and now I guess the wedding... :headache: I just really want to be cured of this feeling. If I feel like this now, I can only imagine what I'll feel like on our wedding day. :sad2: Can I get meds for this?
So in the midst of trying to calm myself, my Mommy has been trying to pick and plan some recipes for the shower, which makes me just want to yurk some more. Food doesn't even sound appealing. So, in an attempt to shush her up, I gave her my requests for what I wanted. She doesn't understand why I want to have Disney themed food. She's hellbent on making some sort of bundt-cake, when all I really think we need are cookies. (I mean come on, there's not many people coming...).

So, that's where I am right now. I'd just really appreciate if you all could send me some good vibes, prayers, inspirational words that'll help me CALM DOWN. I really don't want to be wound up anymore...in the end it'll just take a toll on me physically.
