I think the groups are supposed to be a Elvis/Buddy Holly combination (still not sure), Jimi Hendrix, Funkadelic, Tom Petty, Nirvana, Bon Jovi another heavy metal band....maybe Kiss and then ultimatley ending up as themselves.
