Dane has been pulling out the drywall, and I have to make another call to the plumber- THATS ANOTHER SERVICE FEE OF 75.00, PLUS PARTS!!!

Can I just go back to disney already and forget that this is even happening!!

So sorry to hear about the leak. Doesn't seem like there is always something that has to be fixed....why can't life just be relaxing & fun like it is when we are at WDW???

Hope the day turns out better for you & doesn't end up costing too much.

Alright so we had our showers and scoped out the lake and resort area, so we were ready to do SOME DISNEY!!
We grabbedour camera and some CASH ofcourse and headed to DTD- The rain had stopped so we were VERY happy.

We walked for a good 10 minutes to the bus stop and then waited about 10 more minutes for the bus. FINALLY It appeared! We were so stoked to aboard our first Disney bus of the trip

Once we arrived in DTD it started raining AGAIN, and we didnt bring our ponchos- how stupid of us, it has only been raining all day- DUH!!
So we ran as fast as wecould to seek some shelter...and then it let up again...CRAZY RAIN!
Javen spotted this almost immdiatly

For those of you that dont know he is VERY into Lion king right now, especially lion king 2 cause he loves Kovue ( the lion with a scar on his face- Just like Javen).
After we snapped a pic we headed to rainforrest cafe for our reservation...it was only about 4:30 and our reservation wasnt untill 5:30 so I was hopeing they could fit us in early.

We were FREEZING in here- they had the air really low and we were drenched from the rain...Heath kept telling me he was cold, I felt bad for them.
This place was really neat, we hadnt been since 2003 and I forgot how much stuff there is to look at in there! WOW! Javen was amazed with all the birds, elephants etc., and when it started to storm he covered his ears and I could tell he was scared and dint know what was going on. I told him it was a fake storm and would be over in a minute and he smiled...so I knew he was okay.
The food was just okay...I didnt do pictures but I had the quesadillas and Dane had the cheeseburger, Heath had pizza and Javen had mac n cheese. Javen and heath ate all theres but dane and I had some left over.

After dinner we went exploring- AKA shopping!!!!!!!!!!!
Our first stop was goofys candy company ofcourse- the boys had been wanting to go here since last year when they missed it.
Here is a picture of the boys and I (sorry about the way I look, We had been in and out of rain all day)

The boys did the "fill your own tube of candy" thing and LOVED every minute of it! we grabbed a couple lolli pops and headed out.
Our next stop was at what came to be MY FAVORITE STORE, I wish I knew the name of it cause I need to call and buy statues that I forgot to get before we left. Anyway it was a ART store right next to Rain forrest...inside I spotted this amazing picture that I would love to have SOMEDAY!

The statues inside this store were VERY large and only ran about 175.00....i wish I would have bought them while I was there but didnt want to spend alot of money on our first day--- we never made it back to DTD though

We started here

and The first thing we let the kids do was BUILD YOUR OWN LIGHT SABER!!
This was such a fun experiance for the kids...confusing but waay fun! LOL

Did i mention that they get pins with each light saber purchase- I thought that was cool...you could choose to be with the evil side or the jedi side....Heath chose Jedi pin and Javen chose the silth pin (i think thats what its called- Im not a huge star wars fan )

Here are the kids and I with the finished sabers!

On our way out the kids stopped to try on these beauties!

We stopped and bought the kids each a piar of stitch hands- they had been wanting these for awile.

we ventured over to another store where Dane and I tried these on JUST FOR FUN!

Heath said " who are you and what have you done with my mother" when I had this on, LOL

Then we headed out to look/walk around...I took a couple pics just out and about....

After dodging the rain on and off we were wet and tired so we decided to head for the hotel...but not before the kids spotted the water play ground...they asked to play and we were already wet so I said " go for it"!
here they are......

One last one of us before catching the bus....

We returned to CBNR and made our way to the room....the boys played with the light sabers for a loooong time before I said it was time to settle down...here they are fighting....

And the photo of the day-- all tuckered out. everyone say it together.....AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW

Oh Farrah, nooooooooo . I have to say at least it didn't happen while you were gone, you can imagine the damage that could have cost .

Oh that would have been bad!

Great TR so far. I love the pics. I can't believe you boys didn't like the pink buildings We stayed at CBR and loved it, but we were lucky we got one of the buildings very close to the food court and shops.

I would have liked it if I were closer to the food court I think.

oh there were soo many different ones! there were ones of just minnie, or just mickey, and then there were some of them together...some classic ones, some wedding ones and they were LARGE statues...I would guess they were about 16 inches tall and about 25 inches wide...jsut a guess...but man they were sooo cool!

Hi! I'm a lurker, but thought I'd pop in to say hello & let you know I'm loving your trip report! Gotta ask about those light sabers or sabers or however you spell it. How much does it cost? What was confusing about it? Are there different colors or something? I've never seen these so I'm clueless. My DD is a Star Wars fan and she might like this. Were there any "girlie" ones?
