Drew and Cheryl deserve to win. Everyone whined about John O'Hurley last year because, as the male, he had the harder job. Stacey's freestyle was lame. Yes I blame Tony but she could have asked for more. She botched the lift at the end and the whole thing just looked half assed.

What also got me was how stand off-ish she seemed at the end. Drew, Jerry and their partners were all hugging and having a good time and Stacy and Tony stood alone looking mad. She only lightened up after Drew walked over to them. I know Tony was mad about the scores but they had a while to get over it before having to come back out. For the first time, I saw them as snobby. Drew and Jerry seem so much more likable.

I also thought Drew was a class act, telling people to vote for who they wanted and while he hoped that was him, he wasn't begging for votes. He just seemed like he was having a great time and that he was a winner already.

Like I said in another post, when Stacy was at a local restaurant where the wrestlers go after a match she was very unkind to the kids looking for autographs and photos(restaurant provides free food for the wrestlers as an attraction for extra business) That is why it was a joke when they showed her on one of the entertainment shows holding kids and giving autographs. I do not like her but then that is just me however, obviously, the vibes are transmitting to others judging from your post.

Ooooooohhhhh Baby! I just watched my recording from last night!! Drew and Cheryl rocked the house! I just about fell off the couch laughing when Bruno told Drew that he could do Brokeback Mountain on broadway! Drew finally got to show his stuff! He and Cheryl made Tony and Stacey look even more lifeless. They just do not have any chemistry between them, imo. To me, they always look like they are just going through the motions with that tight lipped smile on their faces trying to act like they're having the time of their life.

Go Drew and Cheryl!!!!!!!

I've been for Drew over Stacie the whole time, and I'm so happy he was so awesome last night while she had that totally boring freestyle. Did she and Tony really think that was good going in or did they just think one lift was all they needed? I wonder though--Jerry has to have such a huge fan base because he's been carried through even though several people who dance better than him have fallen by the wayside. Do you think that's why they have two dance scores balanced with the audience voting? That essentially shuts Jerry out even if he has the highest fan vote. Is that system to make sure he doesn't end up winning because that might be embarrassing for the show? I didn't watch last season so I don't know if that's how they did it before, but it makes me wonder...

Twice during the season I tried to call and vote and both times I got a message that I'd already used up all the calls for my number. I did vote online for Drew, but it bothers me that I can't ever call in.

I'll be so excited if he wins. He's been so dedicated, so fun, such a good sport with other contestants, and totally consistent.

And yes, I'm ugly and uncoordinated and probably just jealous, but something about Stacie always seems insincere for me.

As much as I want Drew and Cheryl to win, and they were TOTALLY AWESOME last night, I keep reminding myself that there is no major money attached to this win, just bragging rights and a silly looking trophy. If Drew wins I will be very happy for him, but I won't pitch a fit and demand a recount.

BUT, that being said - DREW AND CHERYL ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

What a little doll he is. He seems so sweet and geniune. And she is unbelievable! What a confident REAL dancer she is. I don't remember rooting so hard for a reality show contestant!

While we were there, we were invited to a big party for "Dancing with the Stars" and the possibility of getting to go to the final show. I was so excited, but I had to go out and buy cool party clothes. I was even talking to Drew's wife about how everyone on the DIS boards was hoping that she wouldn't go into labor.

At 9pm tonight (eastern time) Drew, Stacey and Lisa will be on a repeat of Larry King Live on CNN. I guess the original episode was last night. If I remember correctly at least one of the judges will be there too.

I totally agree! I think that Stacy's freestyle dance was lame and probably cost her the competition.

I give alot of credit to Jerry Rice for sticking with it and staying so positive!
