I did not realize that Cheryl was only 21 years old - you are 100% right she is a fabulous choreographer! not to mention a fabulous dancer - I think she is one of the very best this year and from last year's show - she really gets into it and really seems to be enjoying herself and it shows in the chemistry between her and Drew - I am so sorry I did not tape last nights show - did anyone tape it? - if so I would love to have a copy - paying for it of course -

I didn't tape it, sorry. After watching Drew and Cheryl's freestyle dance, I was so kicking myself for not taping it. The dance was *that* good!

Yes - Cheryl is the total package - cute as a button, fantastic body - and a fabulous dancer and choreographer! She and Drew really compliment each other well.

During the first half of the show, when Drew and Cheryl went to the Western Club - you could see that Drew's wife (is it Lea?) and Cheryl obviously have a lot of genuine affection for each other. God bless Lea - because I don't think I could handle my hubby dancing like that!

Well I am shocked I did not realize Cheryl was only 21. I thought she was MUCH older than that. Wow. That is impressive. Obviously she has been dancing since she was a little girl.

I tried non-stop for the entire 30 minutes to call in and vote for Drew and Cheryl and COULD NOT get through at all - I'm hoping that is a good sign and they won't need the 5 votes I was trying to give them.

They are by far the best couple dancing - GO DREW AND CHERYL!!!!

During the first half of the show, when Drew and Cheryl went to the Western Club - you could see that Drew's wife (is it Lea?) and Cheryl obviously have a lot of genuine affection for each other. God bless Lea - because I don't think I could handle my hubby dancing like that!

My guess is that she is used to it. They are childhood sweethearts who knew each other since they were only 5 years old. She was a coreographer (spelled wrong!) for 98-degrees and a background dancer. I'm sure she's used to women swooning over her hubby.

I also had a terribel time voting for Drew and Cheryl. I did get through one time, but also got through 2 other times but it never told me thanks for voting so unsure if those votes counted.

Drew and Cheryl so rocked last night and I hope they win it all.

BUT riding that cowboy last night - how fabulous was that!!! that was the sexiest thing, not to mention dance that I have seen in years - and with their clothes on- just goes to show your imagination is everything - quite frankly I believe if they were nude it would not have been as sexy - anyone agree???? As his wife I think no matter how long I have known him that dance would have gotten me just TEENY BIT jealous. (hahaha) GO DREW GO

Drew and Cheryl deserve to win. Everyone whined about John O'Hurley last year because, as the male, he had the harder job. Stacey's freestyle was lame. Yes I blame Tony but she could have asked for more. She botched the lift at the end and the whole thing just looked half assed.

What also got me was how stand off-ish she seemed at the end. Drew, Jerry and their partners were all hugging and having a good time and Stacy and Tony stood alone looking mad. She only lightened up after Drew walked over to them. I know Tony was mad about the scores but they had a while to get over it before having to come back out. For the first time, I saw them as snobby. Drew and Jerry seem so much more likable.

I also thought Drew was a class act, telling people to vote for who they wanted and while he hoped that was him, he wasn't begging for votes. He just seemed like he was having a great time and that he was a winner already.

I dialed my little fingers to the bone and couldn't get through once for Drew and Cheryl. Like the others, hope that's a good sign. I LOVED the freestyle. Have loved them from the first episode.

Drew has been my favorite from the very first show.
He just seems to be a real class act. I so hope he wins it!
LOVED the cowboy dance!

I'm with RadioNate in that I thought the lift at the end of Tony & Stacy's dance looked really awkward and the rest of the dance was just too simple for the finals.

I was glad to see Jerry looking more comfortable out on the floor - he just has never been in the same league with the other 2 couples IMO.
I really thought he would go before Lisa did; even though she always grated on me, I thought her dancing was better than his.

The fact that Jerry has such a HUGE fan base worries me a bit.

OMG!!!! Drew was AWESOME last night! my mom even called me to comment on ho GREAT that dance was!!!!DH even admitted it too!!!

i couldn't get through NOT ONCE!!! that's a good thing, but i hope everyone voted enough! he totally deserved to win!!

What was with Staceys dance? i must admit when they were done i found myself asking...umm is that IT???? there was NOTHING there!

Jerry did great but the night belonged to DREW and CHERYL!!

I didn't watch last season but wasn't there some controversy about whether the couple who won really deserved to win?

Yes there was a controversy. I think though that the scoring was different last season and they fixed it this time so the audience would play a stronger part. John O'Hurley was the favorite all along and was clearly a better dancer. In the finals I think Kelly got a perfect score which pretty much put the nail in the coffin for O'Hurley. If I remember correct, Kelly's partner even almost dropped her once and they still got a 30. The judges said she had improved so much since the beginning that she deserved the score. So they had the dance off that was all fan voting.

Last night was some great dancing!! I was so excited to see Jerry finally get some compliments from the judges...he's not the best one, but I think he is good and he has worked his behind off!

I was disappointed with Stacey and Tony's free dance too. It was like the only thing they had was the big lift and that was at the end. I was just sitting there waiting for them to DO something.

Drew and Cheryl stole the show in my opinion! They were hot hot hot!! I just hope poor Drew's wife doesn't go into labor before Sunday! Could you imagine getting that far and then having to drop out at the last minute?

It sounded like they are scoring the couples like so...

by the judges:
first place gets 3 pts
second place gets 2 pts
third place gets 1 pt

by highest number of phone calls:
first place gets 3 pts
second place gets 2 pts
third place gets 1 pt

Each counts for half of the score so I guess a perfect score is a 6. Let's hope Drew gets the most phone calls!

Also - I believe there is one more dance (that only the judges score) that gets added to the judges' totals.

Hope that makes sense!
