Hey, guys!

I got priority tix to see the show on October 15th!

I think I had mentioned that my friend & I went to an audition that two of the judges, Bruno & Carrie Ann, held for an upcoming show they're going to be hosting where they each have a team of performers who'll compete against each other.

Well, they're going across the country having auditions, and my friend got a notice that whoever went & stayed for the whole thing would have priority seats for an upcoming Dances with the Stars Show.

We went, and she got her notice that we have seats for the October 15th show!

Here's some pics of that Saturday we went. Los Angeles was having a storm, which is really unusual for September, and especially unusual because it hasn't rained here for over 150 days!


Here is Santa Monica at around 8am.

Close-up of the stage where the auditions would be. We stood and watched (after they pumped the water out from the area - that took a couple of hours, so we had breakfast at Bubba Gumps on the pier in the meantime).

Carrie Ann & Bruno. It started to rain on us so someone gave her an umbrella.

Drew Lachey was there, too. He sang "Singin' in the Rain" with some of the contestants... in the rain.

Here he's thanking us for coming out.

They had the auditions again this last Saturday because we got rained out... but, we still got the tix!


btw -- Bruno was very funny in person. You should have seen his reaction to this one "hot chick" who was dancing her heart out.

Anyone else watching this evening? I had to pick up my daughter from dance class and when we got back I saw Wayne/Cheryl and Marie/Jonathan. I thought Marie did a great job.

Which couples danced earlier or did I not miss anything given how much padding they add to this show?

I also liked Maks and Mel. I kind of Maks to win just because I like him. LOL!

The sound went out on our cable just as Marie's segment came on and stayed off for her whole performance. What song did she dance to? I thought she did great!!! And what a bonus to see Donny and Jimmy cheering for her in the audience! Wahoo!!! That was awesome!!!!!! So cute!!!

I felt bad for Jennie and her partner with the slip at the end. And its hard not to feel sorry for Wayne Newton. I know he's trying but he's just not that good.

I think Drew did so much better this week, I thought he was so amateurish last week.


I sent all my online votes to Helio, I voted this morning and didn't have any problems voting. I like the Cheetah girl, but I just always like the guys better. I think Mark will go home only because I think Wayne has a bigger fan base. Why do they have to throw in a 65 yr old guy anyways, it's so hard for them to keep up.

I had no idea who Helio was before the show as I am not a race fan....but he received all my votes! He's great on the dance floor!!

As far as Drew goes.....he is nice to look at, but his hosting skills leave much to be desired. He just seems awkward to me.

I voted this morning and didn't have any problems voting. .

I couldn't vote last night, but I just was able to vote now. I didn't realize you could also vote the next morning until 12pm. I thought it had to be only until 1/2 hour after the show.

I really liked Marie. I'll have to pay more attention to the guys next time. Wayne was too stiff.
