This is my 1st season watching & I agree that it seems more like a popularity contest. I thought for sure Clyde would be gone!

When it gets down to the last 2 dancers, does the audience still vote or is it all up to the judges?

I did enjoy watching Drew dance last night! Is there a place online to watch the past seasons?

Wow that was a great show last night. I was sooo excited to see Drew dancing-- just love him. I was ticked off the camera stayed so long on the band & not on Drew.

I am very surprised Leeza went last night only because I thought she had a big fan base. I think Leeza could have gone home the first or second week as well. She is just not a dancer.

As far as Clyde goes, I don't think its a matter of him not trying. He probably could try harder-- I think the problem is he is so big & his partner is so small that by the time he finishes a move she is already on to the next one.

I heard Samantha's baby was due in the Fall. I did hear that she expected no problems with this years season and next years season with this pregnancy and delivery-- so that means shes planning on coming back.

IIRC, the audience still gets to vote.

Clyde and Billy Ray will be gone soon enough. Eventually the judges will give them embarrassingly low scores and they will either ask their fan base to stop voting for them (ala Jerry Springer) or the fan base will not be great enough to overcome a very, very low score. In the meantime, we have to deal with them.

I put the whole Clyde/Master P/etc problem right on the doorstep of the producers. I like the show as a competition, not as a train wreck. They pick some contestants for fan base appeal and not for the possibility that they may be a good dancer. I hate it when better dancers who want to stick around get voted off while people who don't give a rip walk through their dances. Or even stand or sit around like Master P and Tucker Carlson. At least Tucker went in the first week!

OH MAN OH MAN!!! Did i call it or what?!!?!? AWESOME is all i can say! i am pregnant and when Drew came out i jumped on my couch and i was screaming and wooohoooing! DH thought i went crazy!! THEN when the camera stayed on Big and Rich for sooo long and i heard CHEERS in the audience i was getting sOOOO POd that i started YELlING at the tv knowing i was missing something good! AUGHH!!

but it was still awesome and that little man is sooooo HOT! BRING DREW BACK!

Yeah!!!! I love Drew..... I was so glad to see him come back.

I'm sure this was mentioned before but.....for those who saw season 2..do you think Cheryl has/had a thing for Drew?! She always looked at him with bedroom eyes.

For me, I found this web site the easiest place to find all of the DWTS videos... http://journals.rpungin.fotki.com/dwts/ He has every season (go to Season 2, Week 8 if you are looking for Drew's freestyle ). He also lists the song that dance too. I know someone asked the name of a song in a previous post.

I was glad it was Drew but I too wish they would have shown more of him and Cheryl instead of Big and Rich and I like B&R. LOL

Another week of Dancing with the Stars, another week of survival for country contestant Billy Ray Cyrus, who, after a rough first week on the show, once again didn’t land up in the bottom two. (TV host Leeza Gibbons is out this week.)
So what’s next for Billy Ray?
Well, you might recall that he nearly scalped his partner, Karina, when he tried to rip a mullet wig off her head, but it stuck.
Karina said she’ll get revenge next week when the two do the rumba to Tina Turner’s What’s Love Got To Do With It.
Backstage, Karina reminded Billy Ray that Tina recorded the song after getting out of an abusive relationship with Ike Turner, CMT.com reports.
“She said that after her ‘mulletrectomy’, it was her turn to abuse Billy Ray!” CMT.com reported.
