he remaining couples dance to classic hits celebrating the legends of Rock. Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductee Flavor Flav joins the judges panel for a night packed with pure rock energy

The night kicks off with an opening to “Pour Some Sugar On Me” by Def Leppard and “Fight The Power” by Public Enemy choreographed by Britt Stewart. The night also features a tour number to “Hey Ya!” by Outkast, choreographed by Mandy Moore, and a troupe dance to “Higher Ground” by Stevie Wonder. The fan-favorite team dance competition returns to the ballroom but this time with a twist: cohosts Alfonso Ribeiro and Julianne Hough will each join one of the teams. Plus, the teams will dance to special live performances from GRAMMY® Award-winning and Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Inductees Kool & the Gang and Chicago.

Team Chicago – with a live performance of “25 or 6 to 4” by Chicago

• Social media personality Alix Earle and partner Val Chmerkovskiy will perform a Paso Doble to “Livin’ On a Prayer” by Bon Jovi.
• Wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and partner Witney Carson will perform a Paso Doble to “Icky Thump” by The White Stripes.
• From “The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives” Whitney Leavitt and partner Mark Ballas will perform a Paso Doble to “No More Tears” by Ozzy Osbourne.
• Reality TV star and content creator Dylan Efron and partner Daniella Karagach will perform a Jive to “I’m Still Standing” by Elton John.
• Comedian Andy Richter and partner Emma Slater will perform a Contemporary to “God Only Knows” by The Beach Boys.
• Film and TV actress Elaine Hendrix and partner Alan Bersten will perform a Viennese Waltz to “What the World Needs Now Is Love” by Dionne Warwick.
• “Boy Meets World” star Danielle Fishel and partner Pasha Pashkov will perform a Contemporary to “Dream On” by Aerosmith.
• Olympic gold medalist Jordan Chiles and partner Ezra Sosa will perform a Jazz to “River Deep – Mountain High” by Ike & Tina Turner.

Oh come on! This team competition isn't even a fair competition. One song is severely handicapped as it is not a joyful CELEBRATORY song, the way the other one is. People are going to vote for Team Cool, as the song is an upbeat one that makes one automatically get up and dance, or in this case, get up and vote, even before seeing the actual dance.

Do you guys thing these two songs are on a comparable level?

(I've cued them up to where the vocals start, although with Celebration, the mood starts as soon as the first drum beats are played.)

Wildlife conservationist Robert Irwin and partner Witney Carson will perform a Paso Doble to “Icky Thump” by The White Stripes.

What the heck is THIS? This isn't even something danceable. It reminds me of when Elaine was given some weird "song" and I said they should just dance in silence and count out the beats as they do the choreography. At least they were give a paso doble where all they have to do is a few spins, marching around and a stabbing at the end.

Meanwhile, everyone else has been given an iconic song to dance to. I can't imagine what it's like to have created songs that reach this many people at one time.

I'm glad Elaine was given a waltz, while her ribcage heals.

Well...at least Whitney and Mark are on the Chicago team?

Or maybe the song was decided after the teams were formed to try and show they aren't favoring Mark: "Look! We gave his team the harder song!"

That is Jordan's best dance. FINALLY, Ezra let her actually combine some of her gymnastic moves into her dance.

AND she does not look chunky in this outfit, like last week.

Hey guys! I just started watching. Dylan’s abs were spectacular.

Alix’s Paso was just meh for me. The way she grabbed her skirts was really stiff. I think it did really did throw her off.

Flava Flav is sooooo baked. It’s very annoying and I’m embarrassed for him.

Andy’s dance was totally sweet. He actually danced! Good for him!

I liked Whitney’s Paso much better. She did seem to focus a little too much on her shaping and posing that I felt the dance stopped and started too much because of it.

I really liked Danielle’s contemporary. It was very intense. I missed her misstep, so I liked it better than the judges did.
