I think it’s being hammed up. She’s Zendaya 2.0. The front runner Disney kid that can dance rings around the older contestants. They need to make her look more vulnerable, hence the injury.

Maybe the producers said the host has to look "normal" and have some decorum, if everyone else is dressing up.

I think Carson Kressley made it a couple weeks farther, mainly on his personality.

Not sure why Arianna & Pasha had all that smoke. It's usually to hide sloppy footwork. And their footwork looked spot on.

Catching up. I really liked Jason’s dance a lot. I think it’s hilarious that Aly son danced as a vampire. But, pretty much hated her dance. For all the driving music, it lacked connection and energy. I think both Sasha and Alyson can do better.

Yes, but mid-TEENS don't consider themselves a child. They are Teenagers!
