Dancing with the Stars--Cast Revealed

I liked the dynamic between Kelly and Louie as well as Donny and his partner. I thought it was cute that Donny ran over and carried his wife into the arena with him. He's a good husband!!

On GMA this morning, they said Kelly was actually originally partnered with someone else. But, after discussing it with her fiance, she asked to be partnered with someone older and more mature. Her exact words were, "Someone my fiance can respect as my partner."

Anyone know who the original partner was supposed to be? It turned out to be very fortuitous for her that she made the change. Louie was forcefully strong with her when he had to be. While it must have been extremely frustrating dealing with her victimy moments, he obviously grew to care for her, evidenced by him crying last night after their last dance.

I watched GMA this AM too. I think Kelley was partnered w/ Louie because he is gay. I believe Kelly's fiance is only 19 and probably would've been jealous if it would've been someone like Max .

They made a very cute couple and I'm happy to see Louie finally get closer than 4th place. He certainly deserves and has really gotten some doozie partners in the past.

I was also happy with the results. I would have been happy if Kelly or Donny had won. Mya was probably the best dancer technically, but I think her downfall was how she came across as cold and pretentious. I think it was in last week's episode where all 3 finalists gave brief interviews talking about how they felt about making it to the final 3. Both Kellly and Donny came across as hopeful, but also humble. Mya didn't come across as remotely humble. I was turned off by her personality.

As for Whitney, I felt sad hearing her sing. I don't think she was high though. I think years of abusing her body and probably not exercising her vocal muscles have led to a weakened voice. I hope she can get it back.

I loved Kelly & Louie together, I thought Kelly was most deserving because she doesn't have a background in dancing/performing, both Mya and Donny do. Kelly really improved herself, grew in confidence and she did a great job last night. I loved watching her and Louie!

I thought Donny was deserving of the title, I was very excited he won. I didn't like Mya, I do like Dimitri, but there was no connection there, with Louie & Kelly and Donny & Kim I did feel a connection. Mya just looked at it like a job IMO. She's good, but she's a dancer, so of course she's good. I also didn't like that song she used, and yes, my girls stayed up and watched it with me. We were up until 11, and they had seen the first time they did that dance as well. DD9 said "mom, they didn't pick a very kid appropriate song did they?" LOL That kid cracks me up.

I loved Kelly and Louie together too. He was really, really good for her. I was happy with Donny winning and the order of the final.

FINALLY just had the time to watch last night's finale' episode!! (Last night before bed I DID watch the very ending to see who won, so that was no surprise tonight)...

But WOW, Kelly & Louie's last dance last night!! And both of them crying such happy tears... I always liked Louie, but now I love him; to see how the professionals can become so attached and fond of their "celebrities" is very refreshing.

Mya: She's practically a professional dancer and while I'm sure she's a very nice person in real life, her personality did not come across very well at all. She was like watching a professional dancer; I never became invested in whether she did well or not. Didn't hate her, just didn't like anything about her.

Donny: Out of the 3 finalists, I'm not surprised that he won. I'd would've been more surprised if he hadn't. If Donny didn't win, I would've liked to see Kelly win.

Yep, Whitney had to have been high. She's just destroyed herself. Sad.

I'm ok with Donny winning; I would have been ok with Kelly too. I just don't like to even watch Mya. She was the best dancer but she has 'fake personality' as far as I'm concerned. She AND her dance partner are just creepy and didn't seem to like each other either. I liked the dynamic between Kelly and Louie as well as Donny and his partner. Totally agree with that bolded part. She got more and more smug once she got that first 30, while Donny and Kelly stayed gracious and humble. I wish Kelly had come in 2nd, Joanna third, and Mya had been dropped a long time ago.

We voted for Marie every week almost up until the very end. After that doll dance we didn't vote for her but we didn't want to vote against her either so we just didn't vote. A lot of other Osmond fans I think felt the same way.
