Dancing with the Stars--Cast Revealed

Yes! Kelly has become my favorite female pick. On the thread about Mackensie Phillips, where we are speculating, as we don't have enough info yet, about her (possibly) whining and making excuses for why she still is messed up, here is Kelly, coming from her own drug abuse past and wacked out parents & brother, and she's working hard to create and carve a new, stronger image & identity for herself, based on hard work, sweat and determination - not excuses! Go Kelly!

I was really impressed with both of Kelly's performances too! I didn't expect much from her and she just wowed. Seeing Ozzie and Sharon's reaction was sooo touching as well.

i watched her viennese waltz on youtube last night (video was very poor ) and i have to say, i was impressed. ozzy and sharon's reaction was very touching. they are obviously quite proud, and rightly so-the video i watched also showed her interview before the dance, and her poise and manner during the interview was as impressive as her dancing.

For the men, I liked Aaron Carter, the snowboarder (aka hobbit), and I loved Michael Irvine's personality so I hope his dancing improves. Donny Osmond is a great performer but he kind of creeps me out...I had the same issue to a lesser degree with Marie...its those old SNL skits....

I haven't finished watching the women yet, but I really liked Mya's routine.

Ok, I finished...I liked Melissa Joan Heart, Mya, Joanna Krupa, and Sharon and spread my votes out between all of them.

Regarding Macy Gray's bleep - she said "I was just glad to get it over with. I finally busted my cherry.". Crude, but she's kinda funny.

Love, love, love Kelly. What a delightful surprise. And how cute are Derek and Joanna? They look like they belong on top of a wedding cake.

mya was very good, i enjoyed her dance. i missed the 2nd hour due to taping a season finale for DH (who was working).

I was kind of surprised with Kathy Ireland, I thought she would be better than she was. Kelly did well I thought and the other model....can't think of her name.

Sorry, but I feel like there is a TON of bias towards that Joanna person. First off, I never knew who she was prior to this event. 2nd off, lay off the botox and lip injections. And third, prettiest model in the world? What planet are they from? I have seen people on the street prettier than her. Kathy Ireland is prettier than her even though she is about 20 years older. But I know it's not a beauty contest. It's a dancing contest. And even based upon solely that, I think she received inflated scores. I think it's just Derek because he does so well and can make about anyone look like a great dancer.

I am rooting for Kelly. Go Kelly!!! If the bias doesn't stop towards Joanna, I am afraid this will be my first season of not watching dancing with the stars. Sadly it looks like the judges have already picked Joanna to go to the finals ... so I may have to get used to the slobberfest in between the judges and Joanna.

Want = Tom DeLay. A politician in spandex shaking his booty? Oh! My eyes!
Think = Ashley Hamilton. He's cute and everything but I don't think he has enough of a following and they didn't play the "disabled card" hard enough for him to get the sympathy vote.

Women
Want = Macy Gray. What a hot mess. She didn't practice enough. She's tall and big and awkward. She has a potty mouth. She looked like she was high on something and not 100% there.
Think = Kathy Ireland. Not enough fan support, not a good enough dancer. I think that M-M-Maks will save Debi Mazer for another week.

I voted for Mark Dacascos and Donny Osmond (!) yesterday and Natalie Coughlin (we're a swim team family) and Kelly Osbourne (!!) today.

I was very impressed and surprised by Kelly's performances!

I was wondering what they were going to do about the tattoos on her arms. I am glad they chose to cover them for the Vienese(sp?) Waltz.

I'm with you! Though I won't go so far as to stop watching. She has confidence and sex appeal on her side, but it takes more than that. PLus, as I also told my DD - I think this show appeals to mostly female viewers and I am not sure how many of them will vote for that! Hope I am correct!

Cheryl doesn't seem comfortable AT ALL with DeLay - it is painful to watch. I never want to see her go, but I bet she would be relieved!

I am totally with you. I don't think I will stop watching. I think that was really just frustration I had with the judges because she definitely wasn't the best out there last night. But by the way they treated Joanna, you would have thought that an angel had fallen from heaven and decided to grace us with her presence.

I agree. Kelly and Mya were great. Kelly looks so happy out there. At first when I found out Mya was in the competition, I was like, "she was cool .. 10 years ago .." but then I ate my words. Wow, she seemed like a natural. I really like her attitude as well. Can't wait to see the results!!!

I thought Joanna did a great job last night. She was one of the few that seemed very comfortable with herself and had a good time. Usually the models are so stiff. That being said, she wasn't all that and a bag of chips but I didn't think he scores were all that biased. Oh, and I have definitely heard of her before...she was on the cover of Maxim not too long ago and my BF has a subscription.

I really enjoyed Kelly and Mya's performances last night for the women and Aaron and Mark's performances for the men. I'm hoping they can keep it up throughout the whole season.
