I was so disappointed with Mya's freestyle. Definitely Dmitry tried to play it too safe. A shame if she loses because of that! She was by far the best in the side by side dance.

I like Kelly, I really do. But she just makes far too many mistakes for a finalist. Her tango was good, but her freestyle seemed pretty simplistic. Add on that the mistakes and she definitely wasn't good.

I don't really want Donny to win as I think he has mostly cornered the showmanship but his dancing leaves something to be desired. He gets away with doing the same moves all the time while Kym gyrates around them. But since he is moving his hips and walking, you don't really notice that is all he basically does in his dances. Kym does an EXCELLENT job hiding it. I don't mind Donny, but I think Mya is a much better dancer.

Kelly was robbed of a 30 tonight!!!

Her first dance was outstanding and she really should have gotten much better scores.

I just don't get it with the judges love for Mya, she is totally full of herself and no offense, she is not a pro, so the freestyle is not really up to her. She is a great dancer but she has always been a great dancer. Her Paso wasn't all that great compared to Joanna and Derek's come on now. They had an AMAZING Paso, I also remember Drew and Cheryl's Paso too that was awesome.

Donny was awesome tonight!!! He was on fire... Kelly did well but I was so upset when she had her first wardrobe malfunction and then when she fell but her smile and her laughing, she was thrilled to be there and gave it her all.

Go Kelly!

It has always been about Mya, her scores were wayyyy to high especially for the Freestyle, she should have had Kelly's scores.

I, too, agree. I think Kelly was robbed. Her first dance was great and I thought the steps were harder than those in Mya's Paso. I was really surprised that Mya got 10s for it.

BTW, I think they have loaded up the dancers too much. In the past I thought that they have only had to do 2 dances for the finale. This week they had to do FOUR and I think that really effected the quality of the dances.

I agree with this. I actually thought this last night when Kelly messed up her freestyle. She had to practice that new group dance so I imagine it took away a lot of time from practicing the free style. Of course, all three were in the same position, but I am guessing Kelly needs more practice since she doesn't have a performing background.

I voted for Donny. I actually really liked Kelly, but she just had too many mistakes.

I'm preparing myself for Kelly winning, and although she has improved the most over the course of the season, I think she is the least deserving of the final three.

Some people have learned to get a lot of attention and sympathy for the "Poor Me" victim identity and stay there. There needs to be a balance from, "This is the person I was... This is the person I've moved on to become."

Kelly keeps shifting back and forth. Her immediate, habitual response it to fall back into, "Poor me, it's too hard. Go easy on me." Luckily, her partner Louie, doesn't buy into all that. From various clips, it seems he will let her have a moment of that, but then gently but firmly move her out of that. (Though, it must have been very frustrating for him. ) She has grown tremendously over the weeks. I hope she will be able to keep it up on her own, once Louie is not there to keep prodding her forward.

I agree. Dancing *and* the work ethic seems to come easier to the other two as both of them are performers. Kelly is the daughter of a rock star.

I will say that in general, I am VERY surprised at the predicted results and quite frankly I will be shocked if they are correct. These numbers do not take computer results into account and I think that is a large percentage of the voting (I only vote via computer).

No, I *think* tonight is basically a total recap of last night (without the ability to vote.) They may make them dance one dance live, but otherwise, other than the last 5 minutes when they announce the results, I *think* it's going going to be all the same.


BTW, a little West Coast warning: Tonight will be a full spoiler thread.

I don't see how tonight we can be whiting out the results and be able to talk about things. Pretty much every post would be whited out.

Plus, we will get total newbies who watch the finale for the first time, come to join the fun & post , don't know we're whiting out, and there will be a "Haven't seen the show before tonight. Joining in. But from watching the dances, I think _____ should have won."

Just saying, I don't think whiting out tonight is going to work.

I hope people dont vote for kelly because they feel sorry for her, that doesnt make sense, this is a dance competition and she definetly isnt the best. I think there were much better dancers than her that got cut early, especially Aaron carter, he was much better than her.Maya to me is the same all the time, swivels he hips and looks scared like a deer in headlight. Donny is very entertaining and is a very versatile dancer. My vote is for him.

If people don't want these shows to turn into popularity contests, they should do away with the public vote. The judges should pick the winner. They are the only ones who are really qualified to pick based on true ability.

The same is true of American Idol. As long as the public votes, the public sentiment toward a particular contestant will always sway the vote.

These shows are about getting ratings, not about picking the "best" contestant. The "best" contestant is subjective, anyway. People watch because they have a vote.

At least DWTS limits the number of votes you can make. I see this show as a non dancer learning how to dance and entertain. I think Donny and Mya are great but they have a background of being out on stage and entertaining. Maybe not with ballroom techniques, but dancing around the stage. If you would have asked me before the show started if I would have voted for Kelly, I would have said definitely no! I only voted last night and did vote online for Kelly.
If the one of the others win, I think that is fine. I really thought this year was great.
