Back to the deep freeze here.....might reach 10* today. BLAAAAAHHHHHH!!!! Yesterday was low 40s and pouring rain. DH has to take me to work today and then commence changing my tire. Got out yesterday to discover a flat.... Got a ride home and just left the truck to be dealt with today. It was such a Monday....!!

Which one of you northerners sent this nasty cold stuff down to my beautiful tropical paradise? While I appreciate a cool down to be able to turn off the a/c and wear sweaters and boots, I do not like bundling up like the kid in the Christmas Story. 30's is not Florida weather. Take it back. Or I'm sending our worst heat your way next summer.

I'll take it back NOW!! 30s would be a heat wave.....it never got above SIX here today, and that doesn't even count the wind chill!!!! And the heat next summer?!....

I agree that's getting a bit much. We had that in TX and I loved it, but then again we had A/C everywhere. Last summer here in NH we had a couple of official heat waves (temps above 90 for 3 or more days straight) and it got to be too much (no a/c in my house....).

But in general, I'd rather feel too warm than too cold!!

....friends of ours left for WDW last Friday, and I was saying that they picked a great week to visit there....however, it was only 59 degrees in Orlando yesterday....I suppose it's better than being HERE, with 9-degree temps!

I know....I was thinking recently how much it would stink to be a northerner who's had this Disney trip planned and looking forward to the escape, only to still have to bundle up!! It definitely beats what we've been going through, but who doesn't want some nice 70s in January?!

It was below zero again last night. I hope we don't get much rain Sat. The other strangely warm 40's day came with heavy rain and lots of flooding and leaky roofs.
