It’s past midnight here on 21 Dec 2012. I can report that there are no zombie sightings…although I haven’t looked in the mirror lately.
Seems like the internet is working as well given that you’re reading this advance notice about the Mayan apocolypse. I guess this means that Christmas is definitely on this year.

Heard a big boom last night and posted on FB if anyone else heard it. Some of my friends towards the West Coast were joking about a Mayan warm up. Turns out that transformers were blowing all over town.

I planned on finally going Christmas shopping today and now I feel too rotten. Stomach cramps, nauseous, shaky and weak. This is ridiculous. We do Xmas with my husband's siblings in 2 days and I have NOTHING. She also asked me to bring the jello mold made with applesauce and ginger ale and I have not picked up the ingredients yet. I usually feel the best late in the day so maybe I can get out early evening. We have a grocery store in my small town, but to go Xmas shopping, it's over 10 miles away which means not a quick trip. blahhhhh
