My dad was admitted to the hospital yesterday. Not sure how "serious" it is but when you're 83 and have survived two heart attacks, you don't take anything like this lightly.

Thanks for the encouragement re: my dad. I just got a long and detailed email from his wife, as she had just come from the hospital. Far too much detail to write here, but in somewhat of a nutshell, his heart has suffered "significant" deterioration recently, his oxygen levels aren't where they should be, and there is fluid in his lungs which is just complicating everything else! It could be worse, but it could be better.

Friends of mine have Bernese mountain dogs. They, and the St Bernards, have such great temperaments!

Photobucket is a good free site to use, as well as Flikr. If you wanted to email me a pic or two, I'd be happy to post them for you! (it's the cold weather, I swear.....it makes you crave comfort foods).
