Looks fabulous to me, Kimmar! Actually, it looks very similar to what I want to do to our downstairs guest bathroom.

It will take me a while, so don't expect any pix on your new thread from me for a while!

Yep, vacations are done and I'm almost caught up with work, so I'm back! :cool1:

DD and I were in a Yankee Candle shop the other week and they had a bacon scented candle.

I smelled it. It was horrible. I think I'd just rather cook bacon so I get the benefit of eating it too. I checked out some of the other Man Candle line, the lawn mowing one smelled like fresh cut grass. Another smelled like deodorant. :confused3

I hope everyone enjoys their day off. We plan to spend another day just relaxing by the pool.

Bacon scented candles? I'll pass. I did attend a cooking demonstration at the local grill and outdoor kitchen store on how to grill bacon. Mmmm! I wish I'd had my camera.

Did everyone have a nice weekend? We were low key this weekend. Hung out by the house, went bowling, and read. I didn't even swim because we had lots of thunderstorms. Welcome to hurricane season!

WoooHooo! I managed to reschdule DD's driver's test before her permit expires. We went tonight to renew it, but, they were already closed. I went to night school to jump on the computers, looked on the DOT website and here there were a bunch of times(which weren't there last Friday). And one of those times was for next Tuesday early morning. :cool1:

I'm glad the place was closed. It saved me $5.00.
